Ian Jackson, Allison Homes
Allison Homes has appointed a new group partnership director. Ian Jackson brings with him over 30 years of experience in the housing sector. Beginning his career in the industry after graduating from London South Bank Polytechnic with a degree in Quantity Surveying, he previously spent 13 years with the Longhurst Group.
Clare Smithson, Weston Homes
Clare Smithson has joined Weston Homes as the new HR director. She has a wealth of human resource management expertise, most recently as group head of HR at Hill Group. Previous HR director Jane Stock has moved to become group organisational development director.
Gary Webster, Bewley Homes
Bewley Homes has appointed Gary Webster as head of technical. He will be reporting to Craig Ireland, who recently joined the company as technical director. Webster has worked within the construction industry for more than 20 years, the last 10 of which wereas senior technical manager at Barratt Homes.
Several appointments, Vistry Group
Vistry Yorkshire has made some key changes across the Linden Homes and Bovis Homes businesses. Senior site manager John Firth (pictured) has been promoted to build area manager. Cathy Brown has been promoted to design manager and the marketing department has welcomed university graduate Diana Ames to the busy team.
Victoria Rawlings, Burrington Estates
Burrington Estates has appointed Victoria Rawlings as sales and client relationship manager for its Central region. From working in cybersecurity and insurance sales, she then moved into the property industry, working initially as a sales negotiator, before progressing to new homes sales manager and developing her career at Connells Group.
Two appointments, Lovell Partnerships
Lovell Partnerships has announced two senior promotions within its West Midlands base. Phil Bowling and Samuel Clarke have been promoted from managerial to director roles. Bowling has taken up the role of regional technical director and Clarke is now the regional operations director.
Elizabeth Austerberry, NHBC
NHBC has announced the appointment of Elizabeth Austerberry as a non-executive director. She was most recently the chief executive at Moat housing association, where she was also a non-executive director at the National Housing Federation. Previous director roles include those at Ernst & Young, Savills and DTZ (now Cushman’s).
Chris Stalker, HBD
HBD has a new director. Chris Stalker previously worked closely with the developer on the delivery of the £250million Kampus in Manchester, a joint venture between HBD and Capital&Centric. He has also worked for Arup and Urban Splash. His past projects include Castlefield and New Islington in Manchester.
Anthony Unsworth, One Heritage
Anthony Unsworth has been appointed One Heritage’s chief financial officer, and has also been the executive director of the residential developer’s board. He has more than 14 years of experience with housebuilder companies, having previously worked as a finance director for Countryside Properties and Barratt Developments.
Several appointments, Allsop Letting & Management
Allsop Letting & Management (ALM) has made a series of senior appointments. Its new CEO, Matt Smith (pictured), joined ALM in 2018 and duties include collaboration with the company’s Build to Rent advisors. Other roles were announced for Tim Theakston (chair), Kelly Smith (COO), Richard Leek (CFO) and Andrew Boyd (non-executive director).
Andy Hames, Rund Partnership
Specialist surveying and construction consultancy Rund Partnership has appointed Andy Hames to its Birmingham office as associate director. He brings over 40 years of experience to the company with a background in the property and construction industry with experience as a land & development consultant, regional director and developer.
