Two appointments, Lovell Partnerships

Chris Law, Thomas McMonagle, Lovell PartnershipsLovell Partnerships has expanded its team in the eastern region with the appointment of Chris Law and Thomas McMonagle as managing quantity surveyor and graduate quantity surveyor respectively. Christopher Smith, land and partnership director at Lovell, said: “I know they’re both perfectly placed to support our upcoming plans for the coming year.”

 

Multiple appointments, Honey

Jeremy Gledhill, Richard Hall, Martin White, Graham Dawson, Sarah Clingo, Howard Mee, HoneyHousebuilder Honey has revealed its management team. Chief finance officer, Jeremy Gledhill; head of procurement, Richard Hall; head of technical, Martin White; and engineering manager, Graham Dawson; commercial manager, Sarah Clingo; and Howard Mee has been appointed as land and planning consultant.

 

Freya Macdonald, Wain Estates

Freya Macdonald, Wain EstatesWain Estates, has appointed Freya Macdonald as land manager. Originally from Norfolk, she holds an MSc in Urban Planning from Newcastle University and gained her experience in strategic land promotion whilst working for two national housebuilders, with her previous role at Harrow Estates.

 

Dan Hassall, Persimmon Homes

Dan Hassall, Persimmon HomesPersimmon Homes West Midlands has named its new managing director. Dan Hassall joined the company in November 2016 as technical coordinator and progressed to head of technical, leading up to technical director and latterly deputy MD. He said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be taking on this role.”

 

Three appointments, Story Homes

Chris Blinkhorn, Mark Ferguson, Allan Tindall, Story HomesPreviously technical director, Chris Blinkhorn has been promoted to operations director for Story Homes’ North West region. Mark Ferguson has also been promoted to operations director, for the North East region. Allan Tindall has been promoted to associate commercial director for Story Homes’ Strategic Land division.

 

Two appointments, Cavanna Homes

Graham Tucker, Keith Miller, Cavanna HomesCavanna Homes has announced new appointments to its two most senior positions. Grayham Tucker, whose career in construction spans two decades, has been appointed as group managing director to replace Keith Miller who is now deputy chairman until such a time when Jeremy Cavanna retires, where he will then become chairman.

 

Rob Spittles, Vistry Housing Yorkshire

Rob Spittles, Vistry Housing YorkshireRob Spittles is the new regional managing director for Vistry Housing Yorkshire. With over 20 years’ industry experience, he started his career in the Royal Engineers, joining McClean Homes as assistant site manager in 2000. Roles at George Wimpey/ Taylor Wimpey East Anglia followed at he joined Linden Homes East Midlands in 2015.

 

Two appointments, Home Builders Federation

Rachel Danemann, Rhodri Williams, Home Builders FederationThe Home Builders Federation (HBF) has appointed Rachel Danemann as planning manager and Rhodri Williams as technical and sustainability director. Danemann, with 25 years’ experience, joins the HBF from Vistry Partnerships West. Williams also brings a wealth of experience and has chaired the Wales Technical Committee since 2013.

 

Sam Harding, Cheffins

Sam Harding, CheffinsCheffins has announced Sam Harding as head of new homes. He joins from Countryside, where for the past eight years he has worked as an associate development director. He takes over the role from Martin Walshe, a director who will remain within with the residential sales department.

 

Tom Barclay, Kingdom Housing Association

Tom Barclay, Kingdom Housing AssociationIn March, Tom Barclay will be taking over from Bill Banks as chief executive of Kingdom Housing Association. Barclay is well known in the sector and has previously held positions as group director of property & development with Wheatley Group and CEO at Clyde Valley HA. He said “Bill will be an incredibly tough act to follow.”

 

Felicity Walker, Savills

Felicity Walker, SavillsSavills has appointed Felicity Walker as its new head of office and residential sales in Bishop’s Stortford. She joins the company as a director having previously spent 20 years working for estate agents in prime central London. Other recent changes to the team include the appointment of Sophia Economou as office coordinator.

 

Dan Selby, CoreHaus

Dan Selby, CoreHausCounty Durham-based modular housing manufacturer CoreHaus has promoted Dan Selby to managing director. He joined the company as operations manager in 2020 and was instrumental in setting up the production facility at Jade Park, in Murton, near Seaham. He said: “It’s been a pleasure to head up operations for the company over the last two years.”
