Lindsay Salvin, Forge New Homes
Forge New Homes has appointed Lindsay Salvin as its new head of land and development.
Salvin joins the Sheffield-based company from Hallam Land Management, where she spent two years working on strategic land projects across the North Midlands.
Her extensive career includes senior roles at companies including Vistry Partnerships and Strategic Team Group.
Commenting on her new role, she said: “Forge New Homes is on the cusp of an exciting new era. The team has ambitious plans for growth, and I’m eager to leverage my experience in land acquisition to help secure the right sites that will deliver much-needed homes across the region. I look forward to working with our partners and stakeholders to shape thriving and accessible new communities across South Yorkshire.”

Gordon Seabright, Treveth
Cornwall-based Treveth has announced the appointment of Gordon Seabright as a non-executive director.
He is the CEO of the Horniman Museum & Gardens in London, part of a career dedicated to community-centred initiatives and sustainable development. He also served as chief executive of the Eden Project from 2014 to 2020.
In his most recent role, Seabright led the Creative Land Trust in London, gaining valuable insights into the property sector and the importance of balancing commercial development with social considerations.
He remarked: “Treveth’s mission to build high-quality, sustainable homes that are specifically targeted towards local residents aligns perfectly with my own passion for ensuring Cornwall’s future prosperity. I look forward to contributing and helping to shape a more affordable and vibrant future for the region.”

Iain McArthur, Centrick
Centrick has strengthened its valuation team with the appointment of Iain McArthur (pictured right) as valuation director, based at the firm’s Birmingham office.
He has joined the company with more than 25 years’ experience in the property sector including senior roles at Cushman & Wakefield, Colliers and, most recently, IM Properties, where he was strategic land director.
MacArthur commented: “Over the many years I’ve worked in property, I have witnessed Centrick go from strength to strength, and I believe there are huge opportunities to continue this pattern through continued service excellence and through innovative solution growth for both our existing and new clients.”

Jo Stother, Advance
In its 50th anniversary year, specialist housing provider Advance has appointed Jo Stother as its new head of property services.
Her previous role was at Longhurst Group, where she began as an asset maximisation surveyor before being appointed to the role of SHDF programme manager. She began her career training as a building surveyor for a local authority and went on to work as a building surveyor at Peterborough City Council and at bpha, the 19,000-home housing provider.
On joining Advance, Stother said: “Putting customers first is a high priority at Advance, something I’ve noticed that everyone across the organisation truly believes in. I’m really looking forward to working closely with customers and my new team to bring fresh new ideas and ways of working so we can continue to expand on the brilliant support that Advance provides.”

Gordon Thomson, Turley
Turley has welcomed Gordon Thomson as its new head of planning Scotland, based in its Edinburgh office.
He joins from Lichfields UK, where he was planning director, and has accumulated over 20 years’ experience in the built environment and planning, specialising in strategic site promotion and complex multi-disciplinary projects. He has worked in a wide range of sectors from urban regeneration to leisure and tourism to net zero infrastructure.
Gordon Thomson said: “This is an exciting time to be joining Turley, with an established team working on a varied and interesting pipeline of projects. We have a raft of new policies and procedures in Scotland arising from ongoing planning reform that will shape all development as we move toward net zero.”
Speaking about this appointment, senior director Peter Lawson, added: “We are delighted to welcome Gordon to the team and look forward to working with him to help shape sustainable futures across Scotland.”
Two appointments, Richborough
Richborough has promoted Nick Banks and Anabel Christmas to the role of senior regional director in recognition of their work and contribution to the growth of the business.
Christmas heads up the East region, covering an area from the East Midlands out to Lincolnshire and down to South Cambridgeshire; Banks now oversees projects in the South East region from a recently opened new London office.
