The Hill Group scooped several major achievements at this year’s WhatHouse? Awards, recognising the developer’s ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality new homes.
Hill was awarded Silver for Best Large Housebuilder at this year’s event, the UK’s most respected benchmark for excellence in housebuilding.
The WhatHouse? Awards celebrate the very best in UK residential development, and this year Hill was honoured across multiple categories, showcasing the talent, passion, and innovation of its teams and partners.
The developer’s Canalside Quarter was awarded Gold for Best House, which Hill says demonstrates its approach to modern living, beautiful architecture, thoughtful layouts and high quality materials.
Hill also brought home the Gold for Best Sustainable Development for its Hollymead Square scheme. The housebuilder said that it is dedicated to environmentally responsible design, low-carbon construction and creating future-ready communities.
The developer’s ‘Shadwell’ house type at Hollymead Square also saw it awarded a Silver for Best Energy Efficient Home, which showcases cutting-edge, energy-efficient design and helps homeowners reduce running costs.
Hill earned another Silver for Best Starter Home for its Kew Bridge Rise scheme, in partnership with L&Q, as well as a Bronze for Best Placemaking for its Marleigh Park development.
Hill says that the multiple awards highlight the hard work, collaboration and expertise of our teams, from design and construction, to sustainability, customer experience and sales.
The Judges’ Report described it as “another exceptional year for The Hill Group”, saying: “No matter the project, the space, the tenure, Hill has never wavered in putting design quality at the heart of every development, setting the tone as sustainable placemakers, with purposeful and impactful community engagement. Its relationships and strong connections with its supply chain are hugely admired, as is its own Team Hill, nurturing talent, supporting the ambitions and needs of its staff.”
