Francesca Davies, Bentry Capital

Career view: Francesca Davies, Bentry Capital

We speak to Francesca Davies, a recent addition to the sales and marketing team at Bentry Capital, about her career and background in the property industry.

Please tell us a little about yourself and what your role involves.

My role bridges brand, development and delivery to market. I’m involved in shaping how our schemes are positioned from early concept through to launch – including branding, messaging, PR, digital campaigns and sales strategy. Because Bentry is vertically integrated, I work closely with development, construction, design teams and external partners, which gives me a broad view of how a project evolves and how each decision influences the final homes and how they’re experienced by buyers and investors.

Have you always worked in an industry related to the housebuilding sector? What’s been the career path to your current role?

My background is firmly rooted in residential property. I started out in residential sales and have worked with established names such as Marsh & Parsons and Savills, as well as boutique and design-led developers including Avanton and Ghelamco. Those experiences gave me exposure to different parts of the residential market and helped me develop a strong understanding of how homes are bought, sold and lived in. Joining Bentry Capital felt like a natural progression, allowing me to combine that experience with a more brand-led, development-focused approach.

Did you have an early idea about your career aspirations while at school or college?

Property was always in the background for me, as my family worked in the sector, and I’d been interested in it from a young age. People often said I’d be well suited to sales because I was naturally comfortable talking to people – I enjoyed learning about them, building connections and engaging with different perspectives. At the same time, I’ve always had a creative streak, so finding a role that blends relationship-building with storytelling, design and strategy has felt like a very natural fit.

Has there been a particularly satisfying achievement, or influential person, in your career to date?

One of the most influential people in my career has been David Ronson, national sales & marketing director at Bentry Capital, who I’ve worked with for nearly ten years. He’s been a pivotal mentor to me throughout that time, consistently encouraging me to contribute ideas, take ownership and lead with confidence. That support and trust have played a huge role in my development, particularly in being involved earlier in the process and helping shape how projects are brought to life. More broadly, being trusted to help frame developments from the outset – not just at launch – has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my career so far.

What do you enjoy most about working at Bentry Capital, as an employee and team member?

The team culture is a big part of what makes Bentry special. Everyone is pragmatic and grounded, but also highly ambitious and driven. There’s a shared focus on delivering quality and doing things properly, without losing momentum or creativity. Brand, design and execution are genuinely valued, and there’s a strong sense of collective pride in what we build. It’s a collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged and where you can see the tangible impact of your work.

What will you be up to with Bentry in 2026?

2026 will be an exciting year, with several launches coming up and a number of projects where branding and identity will be kickstarted from the very beginning. I’m really ready to roll my sleeves up and get involved in that early-stage work – setting the tone, shaping narratives and building momentum as schemes move closer to market. It feels like a period where a lot of groundwork comes together, which is always energising.

What are your career aspirations?

I’m particularly drawn to the storytelling of developments and the areas they sit within – how you capture the essence of a place and translate that into something meaningful and authentic. I enjoy being involved in the creative side of the process and would like to continue pushing boundaries in how developments are marketed, especially as the way people engage online is constantly evolving. While staying on top of trends is important, I’m equally passionate about in-person connection. Immersive experiences – in marketing suites and within the homes themselves – are where trust is built and decisions become emotional as well as practical. People are making significant investments, and ultimately it’s about creating confidence, connection and memories, not just homes.
