Build-to-rent residential management company, Apo, has announced the completion of its second development, located in Kew Bridge.
Demand for urban rental properties continues to grow, and Apo Kew Bridge has been designed to facilitate modern city living, providing “generously-sized, stylish” apartments alongside a number of bespoke, responsive resident amenities and services.
The development is at the heart of the Brentford East regeneration project and sits alongside the Gtech Community Stadium, home to Brentford FC and the London Irish. The vision for the project is to create a vibrant West London neighbourhood that’s home to a growing community of high-street retailers, cafés and restaurants, just moments from Kew Bridge station.
Apo Kew Bridge provides 487 rental homes across four buildings, consisting of studio flats, and one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, available both unfurnished and furnished by contemporary furniture design company BoConcept.
Residents will also have access to a number of shared facilities including The Local – a work and social space, a state-of-the-art wellness studio, gym, and several large rooftop terrace spaces.
Matt Finch, director at Apo, said: “We are delighted to announce the full completion of our second rental scheme at Kew Bridge. Following the successful launch of our first site in Barking, we are proud to have created 1,082 new build-to-rent homes in London over the past two years, responding to the high market demand while maintaining even higher expectations for quality and intuitive living services.”
Investment in the UK build-to-rent market continues to grow, seeing an 11% rise in the first half of 2022. Apo Barking was fully let eight months ahead of target, while Apo Kew Bridge saw 60% of apartments let within eight weeks of its launch. These positive numbers are a testament to the positive momentum currently in the build-to-rent sector.
