Hakan Bulgurlu, CEO of Beko, has announced that he will step down from his role, to be succeeded by Can Dinçer, currently general manager of Arçelik Turkey and chief commercial officer for South Asia and Turkey.
Bulgurlu commented: “Twelve years ago, when I stepped into the CEO role, I made a quiet promise to myself: build Beko into a global leader, one that could compete with the best in the world and do it in the right way.
“The next chapter is about operational excellence, sharpening competitiveness, and cementing our position in Europe, while accelerating in the high-growth emerging markets where much of our industry’s future will be shaped. That is precisely why I have such confidence in Can.

“Can has led across multiple geographies and delivered a tremendous transformation in Turkey, building a high-performing engine of operational excellence. He understands the customer journey deeply, and he is the right leader to guide one of the most capable teams in our industry toward the next level.”
Over more than 30 years, Dinçer has held several leadership roles spanning Beko’s international operations. Beko says Dinçer has helped play a pivotal role in strengthening its position in Turkey and delivering commercial growth.
Dinçer praised Bulgurlu, saying: “Working with you over the years has meant a lot to me. As a company, we have learned from your calm approach, your clarity, and the way you led through both good times and difficult periods. You leave behind a strong organisation and a clear path forward. That gives us confidence, but it also comes with responsibility.
“We will continue with the same focus on our people, disciplined execution, and long-term results. I also want to thank all our teams around the world, as well as our dealers and authorised services. Once I take on this role, we will continue moving forward with the same determination.”
