Sarah Sargeant, Cameron Homes
Cameron Homes has appointed Sarah Sargeant as sales director, responsible for leading a 12-strong team across developments in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, Shropshire and Staffordshire.
Sargeant joins from Hayfield, where she also held the position of sales director. Prior to that, she held senior roles and accrued significant experience across the residential, luxury and new homes sectors.
She commented: “I am excited to be joining such a well-established housebuilder that is so well known for prioritising customers and their individual home moving journeys. With seven sites open, plus five more to launch this year, I am proud to be working with such an experienced, forward-looking and dedicated team.”

Graeme Gibson, Miller Homes
Graeme Gibson has joined Miller Homes as chief financial officer (CFO), bringing with him significant experience in financial leadership, capital investment and financial control across large organisations.
Previously CFO at Edinburgh Airport Limited, Gibson is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. He is a board member of National Museums Scotland, where he also acts as chair of the Audit and Risk Committee.
He said: “I am delighted to have joined the business at such an exciting time. Miller Homes has a strong reputation for quality and a clear strategy for future growth, and I am looking forward to working with the Board and the wider team to support its continued success.”

David Woodger, City & Country
City & Country has appointed David Woodger as commercial director to oversee its schemes across the south of England.
With more than two decades’ experience in surveying, Woodger brings significant expertise to this latest role, having worked most recently as commercial director for Vistry Group, and prior to that at Barratt Homes. His experience spans contracting, developing and consulting throughout the construction process.
Woodger commented: “As an SME developer, City & Country has the flexibility to evolve its practices and improve its processes at every stage of development. That includes the ability to react quickly to resolve problems as they arise, but more importantly, to learn from them and implement lessons going forward to maintain excellence.

Rob Hart, Persimmon Homes
Persimmon Homes has announced that Rob Hart has been appointed regional chairman of its South West division, as current regional chairman Julian Roper steps up to the role of Persimmon’s group construction director.
Hart joins from Barratt Redrow, where he served as managing director of Barratt Bristol from June 2021 to this year. He had previously spent nearly 12 years with Persimmon, holding a number of senior roles across the business including land director, regional land director, and managing director within the South West region. In total, he has more than 26 years of experience in the housebuilding industry.
Hart said: “I am delighted to be returning to Persimmon and taking on the role of regional chairman of the South West division. I look forward to working with colleagues across the region as we continue to deliver high-quality new homes and leave a positive and lasting legacy at our sites.”
Stephen Heverin, Onward Homes
North West housing association Onward Homes has appointed Stephen Heverin as interim executive director of growth. In his role as growth & regeneration director, he has overseen Onward’s ambitious development pipeline and its strategic partnership with Homes England.
Prior to joining Onward, Heverin was the group director of homes and development at First Ark Group, and before that was operational director (investment) at Knowsley Housing Trust.
Commenting on the appointment, chief executive Sandy Livingstone said: “Stephen has made a significant contribution to our organisation since joining us in 2017. Under his leadership we have secured a strategic partnership with Homes England, regenerated communities and boosted the choice and supply of quality affordable housing across the North West.
“His experience and knowledge of our customers and communities will enable us to deliver our ambitious development programme in the years ahead, which will unlock more much-needed affordable housing and help even more people to put down permanent roots.”
Tilly England, Newton LDP
Newton LDP has strengthened its operational team with the appointment of a marketing manager.
Tilly England joins the firm with some five years’ experience in marketing, communications and business development within the property and built environment sectors. She had spent some three years supporting Newton as a client during her time at Wigley Connect. Alongside her previous roles, England has also been involved in industry networks including Sisters in Property and the Future Foundations Network, both of which focus on supporting the next generation of women in the built environment sector.
She said: “The culture at Newton is built around collaboration and strong relationships, which is something that really stood out to me. Joining a team with such depth of expertise, within a sector I am genuinely passionate about, is an opportunity I am really excited about.”
