VR/AR specialists, Looma, are using their innovative technology to ensure that launching a development without a show home or on-site presence isn’t the challenge it once was.
By utilising the latest VR tech such as touch screens, controls and VR goggles, an estate agency office, rear office or remote sales hub can be turned into a development-specific sales centre. Purchasers can experience a fully immersive sales experience and ‘view’ developments externally and internally, selecting a home to buy months before it would be safe to visit the site in a similar fashion.
One recent example of how this technology has been utilised is the launch of Lovelace Court in Surbiton for Elivia Homes. The site was fairly tight, so Elivia engaged with LOOMA to create a pop-up marketing suite based in the offices of Barnard Marcus Surbiton, Elivia’s appointed sales agent. This included supplying soft and hardware, and creating virtual tours of nine furnished apartments. On the launch weekend, two apartments were sold, increasing to five units within the first three weeks, all using this ground-breaking technology.
Peter Krelle, director of land and new homes at Barnard Marcus commented: “This is the first time we’ve worked with LOOMA on a project and we were blown away with the unrivalled quality of the virtual walkthroughs. We would definitely offer this service to other clients, as the results speak for themselves.”
