Elivia Homes acquires major land portfolio in partnership with Reside Group

Elivia Homes and Reside Group have announced a partnership agreement that will see the acquisition and promotion of a portfolio comprising more than 1,100 residential plots across South East England.

Valued at approximately £500million, the collaboration will aim to accelerate the delivery of new homes, including affordable housing, in counties such as East and West Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Hampshire.

Elivia Homes says that the agreement significantly strengthens its position within the residential development sector through the acquisition of 11 prime sites from Reside Group, all at varying stages of the planning process. Ranging from 30 to over 200 units, the sites will play a key role in meeting the region’s growing demand for sustainable, well-designed communities.

Richard West, joint managing director of Reside Group, commented: “We are always seeking opportunities to strengthen our profile, and partnering with Elivia Homes represents the perfect alignment of vision and capability. Their focus on land acquisition and development complements our strategic approach, creating a synergy that positions both businesses for long-term success.”

“Working with the Elivia team has been a pleasure, and we look forward to building on this relationship in the years ahead.”

This transaction marks Elivia Homes’ second major deal of its kind following its partnership with Seaward Strategic in 2023. Supported by Octopus Investments, the agreement reflects Elivia Homes’ growth strategy and underpins its commitment to securing sustainable cash flow.

Duncan Klitgaard, group land and planning director at Elivia Homes, added: “We are delighted to formalise this partnership with the team at Reside Group. The process has been seamless, thanks to our shared outlook and collaborative approach. We look forward to combining our expertise to deliver exceptional homes and thriving communities across the South East.”
