Wates Land & Development division, part of the Wates Group, has announced the acquisition of Midlands-based land promoter, Manor Oak Homes.
The acquisition brings 52 sites into Wates’ land portfolio, making it one of the UK’s largest land promoters. Wates says that the move will enable the creation of a strong Midlands-focused regional operation within the business, which reflects its long-term commitment to sustainable growth.
The Midlands-focused business will operate as Wates Manor Oak, with the existing leadership team remaining in place to ensure continuity and to build on the established relationships across the region.

Earlier this year, Wates Land & Development announced its strategic expansion into the South West with the opening of its new office in Bristol.
