Katherine Rose, Elysian Residences
Retirement developer and operator Elysian Residences has named Katherine Rose as director of marketing and sales. Joining them after eight years as group marketing director at Audley Group, and previous roles including that of a BBC Marketing planning director, her first duty is the launch of the Landsby development in Stanmore, set to open in February 2020.
Multiple appointments, Redrow Homes (Yorkshire)
There have been several management changes at Redrow Homes (Yorkshire). John Handley has been promoted to managing director after seven years as commercial director; Bill Parker will now head up the commercial team; Stuart Hill becomes chief quantity surveyor; and senior designer Christopher Peatfield has been promoted to design manager.
Dominic Parker, Langham Homes
Windsor-based developer Langham Homes has announced the appointment of Dominic Parker as land director. He brings with him a great deal of experience, including running his own property business where he focussed on multi-faceted land acquisitions. He has previously held positions at Shanly Homes and at a high-profile urban regeneration company based in central London.
Four appointments, Barratt Developments
Barratt and David Wilson Homes South Midlands has welcomed four new starters to its technical team. Alex Pook is a technical project manager; Azahara Bello and Michael Pritchard are architectural technologists; and Rob Hill, a technical apprentice is studying towards a Technical and Professional Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3.
Mike Woolliscroft, Countryside
Mixed-tenure develop Countryside has promoted Mike Woolliscroft to chief executive of its Partnerships South division. He joined the divisions’ West London region in April 2014 as managing director and has already been responsible for several major mixed-use developments and strategic partnerships, including 52-acre Acton Gardens in west London.
Mark Phelan, Avant Homes
Avant Homes has appointed Mark Phelan to the newly created role of group customer experience director. He comes with more than 20 years’ experience in customer relations and research and will be overseeing the end-to-end customer journey across five regional operations. “I want to exceed expectations for our buyers and potential purchasers,” he said.
Tracy Sormus, Gregory Property Group
After 16 years as finance director for Melrose Textile Company, Tracy Sormus has joined Gregory Property Group as company secretary and accountant. An Associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, she said: “I am delighted to join Gregory Property Group which is well known for its contribution to the built environment across Yorkshire.”
Four appointments, Sigma Capital Group
Sigma Capital Group plc has expanded its Edinburgh team with four new starters across its development, finance and administration teams. Kenny Brewster has joined from Knight Frank as associate property director; Pippa Coulson has joined as group financial controller; Katherine Buckle is accounts assistant; and Maria Law executive assistant.
Matt Davies, Robinson Manufacturing
Matt Davies has been appointed head of health, safety, environment & quality by Robinson Manufacturing (RML), bringing with him experience and qualifications gained in high-profile public and manufacturing sector roles. He said: “I’m looking forward to working with our teams across the UK to achieve great things!”
Robert Titterton, Cole Waterhouse
Investor and developer Cole Waterhouse has announced the appointment of Robert Titterton to its newly created role of development manager, in a newly-created role. He previously worked as a development executive at Nikel for five years, where he was involved in projects in Liverpool, Altrincham, Sheffield and Birmingham.
