Housing industry careers news: This week’s Movers & Shakers

We take our weekly look at appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.

Michael Prince, Wavensmere Homes

Michael Prince, Wavensmere Homes

Wavensmere Homes has recruited sales consultant Michael Prince will be responsible for customer sales relationships across all its developments.

Prince joins from the surveying and valuation department of Connells, where he was a RICS registered valuer and AssocRICS surveyor. Prior to six years there, he was a branch manager for a large estate agency group. He graduated from the University of Leeds in 2012 with a BA (Hons) in Management.

Prince commented: “Having previously worked alongside the team during my estate agency career, I saw firsthand Wavensmere’s passion for regenerating and restoring neglected brownfield sites and forgotten corners of our towns and cities – transforming them into vibrant communities for people to live, work, and build their futures. And that’s what makes this role so exciting.”

Greg Stockton, Savills

Greg Stockton, Savills

Savills has appointed Greg Stockton as international head of UK Investment Sales and Distribution in the Middle East, strengthening its ability to connect residential developers with new routes to sale.

Stockton will be based in Dubai to help provide UK developers with direct access to investors, wealth managers and advisers across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman

Over two decades of investment, wealth management and real estate experience has led to long-standing relationships with wealth managers, private advisers, and investment professionals throughout the region.

Stockton commented: “The business has ambitious plans and I’m looking forward to playing a role in delivering them through working with colleagues across the Savills network.”

Ashley Shires, TECE

Ashley Shires, TECE

TECE has announced the appointment of Ashley Shires as its new UK managing director, commencing 21 September 2026. Russell Barnes, interim DD of TECE, will move into the role of head of sales and marketing,

Shires is a highly regarded figure in the bathroom industry and brings more than 40 years’ experience to the company,  working with UK and international bathroom manufacturers. His most recent role as MD of SIAMP for 14 years.

Shires commented: “I am thrilled to be starting a new and exciting chapter with TECE, a leading specialist in the sanitary solutions and flushing technology sector. I am excited to work closely with our longstanding customer network, while forging new partnerships

Stephen McGlinchey, Grant Westfield

Grant Westfield has appointed Stephen McGlinchey as customer service manager

He joined the company in July 2026 and brings with him experience from a consultancy role with DRS International, where he worked exclusively with the administrators of Ireland’s Deposit Return Scheme, Re-turn.

Commenting on his appointment, McGlinchey said: “I am looking forward to unlocking the potential within my team and ensuring we are aware of the impact our input has on the business performance and customer satisfaction, during a period of positive change.

“In these early days, it is all about building my understanding of the various areas of the business and how we can align our goals. I also want to focus on developing a high level of trust within our team and cross-departmentally, as I am very aware of the benefit of a highly motivated and engaged unit.”

Dan Fyffe, Hampshire Trust Bank

Dan Fyffe, Hampshire Trust Bank

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has appointed Dan Fyffe as lending director within its Development Finance team, where he will support brokers and SME developers across the South.

Fyffe brings more than 20 years of banking experience to the role, including 17 years specialising in property and development finance. He joins HTB from Mizrahi Tefahot Bank, where he was a relationship manager. Prior to this, Fyffe spent nine years at Shawbrook Bank, progressing from assistant relationship manager to relationship director within its Development Finance team. He will now be reporting to HTB’s head of originations, Development Finance, Rob Syrett.

Fyffe said: “What attracted me to HTB was that it is an established bank but still has a practical and flexible approach to development finance. HTB also has a strong reputation among people I’ve worked with in the market over the years, so joining the team felt like a natural fit. I’m looking forward to getting out into the market and working with brokers and developers across the South.”

Steve Warfield, Cyncly

Cyncly, a provider of AI-driven software for the spaces-for-living industry, has announced the appointment of Steve Warfield as chief customer officer (CCO), with direct responsibility for the end-to-end customer experience including onboarding, enablement, customer support, and customer success.

Warfield brings more than 20 years of customer operations leadership in complex, fast-growing B2B SaaS and enterprise software environments and comes with a proven track record of scaling global teams, improving customer experience, and maintaining customer loyalty. Most recently, he served as vice president of customer service and technical support at Zendesk.

Alex Holcroft, SIAMP UK

SIAMP has announced the appointment of Alex Holcroft as managing director, rejoining the company where he previously spent more than two years as product manager between 2017 and 2019.

He brings with him extensive experience from across the UK kitchen and bathroom industry, with a career spanning sales, commercial management, product development and go-to-market strategy. Since leaving SIAMP, Holcroft has served as sales director at Woodland Furniture Group. He succeeds Ashley Shires, who has led SIAMP UK for 14 years.

Billie Wallace-Moth, Pulse Consult

Billie Wallace-Moth, Pulse Consult

Pulse Consult has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Billie Wallace-Moth as director in its East Midlands Hub, amid expanding residential services.

She joins Pulse following over a decade at AtkinsRéalis (formerly Faithful+Gould), where she successfully delivered major, award-winning schemes across the private residential and PBSA sectors. Her experience spans the East Midlands and London, leading the ongoing delivery of two major projects for Fusion Group, as well as the RICS award-winning iQ Sneinton Market scheme.

Wallace-Moth also regularly taking part in panel discussions and networking events focused on the Building Safety Act 2022, high-risk buildings and navigating the Gateway 2 submission process.

UK Forbes Global Properties has appointed leading prime London estate agent Charlie Willis (pictured right) as founder partner and managing director, as the business continues to build its presence in the UK luxury residential market.

Willis brings more than 30 years’ experience in prime Central London residential property. His career includes six years at Foxtons followed by 18 years at Strutt & Parker, where he became a full equity partner, joined the firm’s board and ultimately ran its London Residential Sales and Lettings businesses. He was involved in more than 700 property sales during his time at Strutt & Parker.

Since leaving Strutt & Parker, Willis has advised private clients independently through Charlie Willis London and has held senior leadership roles with The London Broker.
