Pennyfarthing Homes has promoted Nick Stone to the role of land and planning director, recognising his pivotal 15-year role in the company’s land and planning strategy and sustained growth over the past 15 years.
He joined in 2010 as land manager covering key residential sites across Dorset and the New Forest. In his new role, he will oversee the land and planning function, focusing on securing a further 500 units through a combination of immediate and strategic opportunities to support the business’s long-term growth ambitions.
Mark Adams, executive chairman at Pennyfarthing Homes, said of Stone: “His strategic insight and collaborative approach will be vital as we continue to navigate a challenging planning and economic environment. We’re confident he will play a key role in driving the next phase of our expansion.”
Stone added: “I’m proud to have developed my career with Pennyfarthing Homes and to now lead our talented land and planning team.”

Building on his 40 years’ experience, Bebbington will lead the private development channel with a focus on sustainable growth, increasing market share, widening the customer base and expanding the company’s geographic reach.
Commenting on his appointment, he said: “My role at Moores is to grow the Private Developer sector – that’s exactly what my team and I will do. I believe it’s important we have some fun whilst doing so and I will ensure we celebrate each little victory on the road to success. We have great people, a great product and great ambition!
“I want Moores to be recognised as a sustainable, growing and profitable supplier – the go-to partner for private developers. By combining our people, our products and our ambition with real customer focus, we can build on our reputation as trusted experts and set a new benchmark for the industry.”

Having joined the firm in 2021, Burgess has been acting-CEO and will step up from his role as chief investment officer with immediate effect. Prior to Lloyds he was most recently a director at JLL, where he had a dual mandate across Residential Capital Markets and the Banking & Capital businesses.
His career also includes over 10 years working in various investment-focused roles at HSBC, as well as co-founding a property technology start-up. He holds an Executive MBA from the London Business School and read Economics at the University of Exeter.
Burgess commented: “I am immensely proud of what we have built at Lloyds Living over the last four years and the opportunity I’ve been given to lead the next phase of its growth.”

Dolan said: “It’s remarkable to see how far Breck has come in just five years, especially through challenging market conditions. The business is agile, well-funded, and backed by a strong leadership team, we are well poised to continue that growth for the next five years.”
Andy Garnett, CEO of Breck, said: “As our pipeline and organisation grows, it is important we keep evolving our leadership with experienced professionals who fit our values. Phil is exactly that, a well-respected, highly capable leader who will play a pivotal role in the next phase of Breck’s growth.”
