Elivia Homes has achieved Planet Mark Business Certification for the second year in a row, marking a significant milestone in its sustainability journey.
The Planet Mark Business Certification is an internationally recognised sustainability accreditation, built on a robust three-step process: measuring impact, engaging staff and communicating progress, with members committing to annual carbon reduction targets.
The accreditation came following an assessment of Elivia’s sustainable performance throughout 2024, in which it achieved a 24% reduction in its Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions and made contributions toward nine of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of this process, Planet Mark calculated the carbon footprint of Elivia’s offices, covering emissions from electricity, transmission and distribution losses, fleet, business travel, water and waste.
Elivia says that certification reflects its commitment to reducing its environmental impact and building a more sustainable future, as well as demonstrating its ambition to lead the sector in sustainable development.

Many of its developments across the Home Counties include sustainable features such as timber frame construction, air source heat pumps, EV charging points, photovoltaic panels, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems and wastewater heat recovery.
