Anwyl Homes has started work on 40 new homes in Nantwich, Cheshire, following the recent acquisition of a site off Peter De Stapleigh Way, Stapeley, from Muller Property Group.
Known as Weaver Forge, it’s part of the wider Maylands Park mixed-use development.
Mathew Tudor-Owen, land director at Anwyl Homes Cheshire and North Wales, said: “We’re pleased to have acquired three acres of land in Nantwich from Muller Property Group, having worked closely with them to navigate through the planning process.”

Anwyl will invest more than £275,000 in the local area in the form of section 106 contributions, agreed during the planning process.
This includes almost £110,000 allocated for secondary education; a special educational needs contribution of around £75,000; more than £56,000 for recreation and outdoor sport facilities, with over £36,000 for healthcare.
Weaver Forge will offer 40 new homes, ranging from one-bedroom apartments to four-bedroom detached family homes.
Mathew added: “The housing mix has been planned to ensure we meet the diverse needs of the local community.”
“Along with homes for private sale, 30% of the development will be designated as affordable housing.”
Homes at Weaver Forge will be launched remotely from Anwyl’s Elmy Fields development in Congleton on Saturday, April 25, with the first properties expected to be ready to move into later this year.
