FibreNest has been acquired from Persimmon Homes Limited and will become part of OFNL’s group, under the ownership of BUUK Infrastructure, subject to regulatory approval being obtained.
Founded in 2006 and part of the BUUK Infrastructure Group, OFNL is a leading UK-based telecoms infrastructure provider, specialising in providing full-fibre broadband networks for new-build residential and commercial developments.
OFNL’s current infrastructure supports homeowners with a choice of up to 18 Internet Service Providers (ISPs), offering a range of broadband, phone, and television packages. The company’s networks are designed to be ready for service upon occupancy, minimising disruption and ensuring immediate connectivity.
FibreNest was established by Persimmon Homes in 2018 and has historically provided full fibre to Persimmon housing developments across the UK.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory clearance before completing by early August.
