Our drive for circularity
With some 14 different recycling and sustainability awards and commendations over the last 10 years, we pride ourselves on embedding sustainability in our operations.
We are driven to reduce our environmental footprint and are proud Gold Members of the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
We also have a long-established carpet recycling scheme that has been diverting over 250 tonnes of carpet waste from landfill each year since it was first introduced in 2015.
This is all part of our drive for circularity, at the heart of which is supplying sustainable, high performance products that can be recycled or re-used effectively.

A sustainable supply chain is vital, so we use suppliers that provide evidence of their green credentials and help us all make greener choices through more innovative and sustainable flooring products.
Designer Contracts has worked extensively and over many years with the new homes sector where, in England, new homes and buildings will have to produce significantly less CO2 under rules intended by the government to help the country move towards net zero. It means developers now want full transparency across their supply chain with an increased focus on whole lifecycle impact and circular principles
