Wallacea Living has reached a significant milestone in the delivery of its debut Integrated Retirement Community situated within Berkeley’s West End Gate development.
Representatives from Wallacea Living and Berkeley were joined by key stakeholders from the local community for the topping out ceremony, as well as members of the project team, to see the final brick laid on what will be the most central IRC in London.
Situated between Little Venice and Paddington Basin, Wallacea Living Marylebone will deliver 104 luxury apartments as well as a host of on-site amenities to support over-65s to live independently for as long as possible. It represents the latest phase of Berkeley’s regeneration project at West End Gate which will deliver 831 high-quality homes including 175 affordable homes when complete, in addition to a public piazza, over £17million in CIL and S106 contributions and 15,000 sq ft of commercial space for restaurants and shops.

Wallacea Living offer 24/7 in-house hospitality and care teams, regular health MOTs and a GP booking portal for residents, who will have access to the on-site restaurant, swimming pool, spa and salon, private cinema and library bar, alongside regular events and classes.

Berkeley and Wallacea Living have worked with Squire and Partners architects to deliver this latest phase of West End Gate. Wallacea Living has also worked with its creative director, Sue Timney, and interior designers Jestico & Whiles to design the Showsuite, show apartment, communal areas and on-site amenities.
