Vistry has entered a new partnership with emh to deliver 125 affordable homes at Millers Place in Hinckley, Leicestershire.
The Millers Place site, situated to the east of Stoke Road and north of Normandy Way, has planning permission for 475 new homes. emh will take 125 homes for the affordable market, with a significant proportion available through affordable rent and shared ownership.
The remaining homes will be split between the private rental sector (PRS) and open market sale, with around 20% PRS and 50% marketed through Vistry’s Bovis Homes, Linden Homes and Countryside Homes brands.
All homes at Millers Place will be constructed using modern methods of construction, including timber frame panels. Each home built using these panels emits 14,460kg CO2e less than a traditional brick-and-block house. The use of locally manufactured timber frame panels from the Vistry Works factory in Bardon will support regional supply chains as the development progresses.
