A new housebuilder has entered the property market with construction underway at its inaugural development, located in Nottinghamshire.
Braddus Homes says it will look to build generously-sized family homes on small-to-medium-sized developments in exclusive locations. Its first development, situated in Mattersey, near Bawtry, comprises four five-bedroom detached homes, which will be finished to a high specification and incorporate AEG appliances, Silestone worktops, underfloor heating, luxury bathrooms and wine coolers as standard.
Priory Fields will also provide buyers with a countryside location, with the scheme surrounded by natural landscapes and with a village post office, local cricket pitch, historic priory and a lake nearby. It also benefits from being close to neighbouring market towns and popular leisure attractions.
The new housebuilder says that by offering bigger-than-average rooms for all the family, exquisite interior fixtures and fittings, and a premium build quality that comes from valuing craftsmanship, they aim to stand apart from the high-volume builders and bring a sense of community and pride to the places where they build.
Huw Richards, operations director at Braddus Homes, said: “We are delighted to be bringing our properties of distinction to the beautiful village of Mattersey. The land offers a fantastic opportunity to create a handpicked selection of new homes whilst preserving the picturesque landscape that makes this area so appealing. We are very proud to be bringing traditional standards and reliable quality back to British housebuilding and are excited to deliver our first family homes early next year.”
With construction now underway, the development is expected to be completed by spring 2026 and sales will launch later this year.
