Asa Chittock, Crest Nicholson
Crest Nicholson has announced the appointment of Asa Chittock as regional director to its new East Anglia division. With over 16 years of experience working in property, he has a track record of running successful immediate land, strategic land and planning functions for large regional divisions of Barratt and David Wilson Homes.
Matt Barker, Keepmoat
Matt Barker has been appointed as Keepmoat’s newest land and partnerships director, to support the existing land teams in the housebuilder’s East Midlands and Yorkshire East regions. His 24 years of industry expertise includes time as land and planning director at Persimmon Homes, Linden Homes and Redrow Homes.
Geeta Nanda, Redrow
Geeta Nanda will join the board at Redrow on 1 May 2023. has led MTVH since autumn 2018 and is also a non-executive director at PRS REIT. From 2015 to 2021, she was a non-executive director at McCarthy and Stone. Richard Akers, chair of the company, said: “On behalf of the board, I am very pleased to welcome Geeta to Redrow.”
Two appointments, Griggs Homes
Hertfordshire-based Griggs Homes has appointed Matt Green as land director and Ollie Myrants-Wilson as land and planning director. Green was previously a Chartered Surveyor at Lambert Smith Hampton, while Myrants-Wilson spent the last three years as land director at Troy Homes, and previous to that, nearly 12 years at Linden Homes.
Rob Hales, Vistry Eastern
A new has been appointed at Rob Hales, 43, has taken up the land and planning director role with Chelmsford-based Vistry Eastern. He joins with over 20 years’ experience in the land and planning sector, having started his career in the housebuilding industry after graduating with a degree in Accounting from Anglia Ruskin University in 2001.
Guy Gusterson, Gleeson Land
MJ Gleeson has appointed Guy Gusterson as the new managing director of Gleeson Land, its land promotion division. He has accumulated more than 25 years of industry experience, including 16 at St Modwen Properties, which he left earlier this year. Previous to that, he had roles with Crest Nicholson and Laing Homes.
Steven Bishop, Orbit Homes
Orbit Homes has welcomed a new head of customer satisfaction to work across the Midlands, East and South of England, arriving with a wealth of experience from various roles in the customer service sector. He said of his appointment: “I’m excited to be joining Orbit Homes in this brand new role.”
Dave Clowe, Turner & Townsend
Turner & Townsend has appointed Dave Clowe as its new head of modern methods of construction (MMC) real estate. A qualified architect with 35 years’ experience from project management through to development and construction, his background in MMC has included work across the educational, defence, residential and healthcare sectors.
Grenville Turner, Silbury Finance
Silbury Finance, the development lender backed by Oaktree Capital Management, has appointed Grenville Turner as chairman, bringing with him over 40 years of experience in the residential real estate and finance sectors. A founding director of Rightmove, until last year, he was non-executive chairman of Watkin Jones Plc.
Martin Samworth, RICS
Former CBRE director Martin Samworth has been appointed as the first chair of the newly formed board of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). He retired from CBRE two years ago after being with the firm for nearly 40 years. He retains various non-executive and advisory roles within the industry.
