Debbie Box, David Wilson Homes

Debbie Box of David Wilson HomesDebbie Box has taken on the new role of diversity officer for David Wilson Homes South Midlands. The senior sales manager said: “It’s important to us that we support the wider diversity and inclusion strategy which believes that a diverse team makes a stronger business, is better for our customers and makes us more of an attractive employer.”

 

Stephen Stone, Keepmoat Homes

Stephen Stone of Keepmoat HomesKeepmoat Homes has appointed Stephen Stone as its non-executive chairman. A qualified architect, he has over 30 years’ experience in the industry. He joined Crest Nicholson in 1995 and is a non-executive director of the National Housebuilding Council, the Home Builders Federation and Orbit Group.

 

Elisabeth Williams, Mulbury

Elisabeth Williams of MulburyElisabeth Williams has joined Mulbury as its in-house legal director, to provide in-house counsel to the residential developer’s senior team as well as overseeing relationships and projects with external legal partners. Greg Mulligan, director of Mulbury, said: “Elisabeth will play a vital role in our business.”

 

Richard Smith, NHBC

Richard Smith of NHBCNHBC has announced a new appointment to lead its Standards, Innovation & Research division. Richard Smith has over 20 years of experience and has worked with a wide range of organisations, leading to extensive industry knowledge. Diane Marshall, NHBC’s operation director said: “His wealth of knowledge and experience… is a welcome addition to the team.”

 

Michelle Hughes, Elan Homes

Michelle Hughes of Elan HomesAfter working at the housebuilder’s headquarters at Cheshire Oaks Business Park for more than a decade, Michelle Hughes has taken on the new role of field sales manager for Elan Homes. Prior to her promotion, she had spent four years in accounts before becoming a senior office administrator for around six years. She said of sales director Marie Morris: “Marie is a brilliant coach.”

 

Scott Varley, Avant Homes

Scott Varley of Avant HomesHousebuilder Avant Homes has promoted Scott Varley to the newly created role of area managing director for Scotland and north east England. Joining Avant Homes in 2006 as regional land manager for the group’s Yorkshire business, he took up the post of land director in 2010 and was promoted to managing director of Avant Homes North East in 2014.

 

Bruce Clarke, McLaren

Bruce Clarke of McLarenMcLaren has brought in Bruce Clarke to be its business development director for the south region. He brings with him experience from similar roles for Kier Construction, Geoffrey Osborne, Lorne Stewart and Crown House. McLaren regional managing director Jay Newman said: “Bruce will bring energy and drive to the role.”
