We take our weekly look at appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.
Chris McAllister, Castle Green Homes

As part of a commitment to delivering affordable housing, Castle Green Homes has appointed a new senior partnerships manager.
With an urban planning degree from John Moore’s University, Chris McAllister brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the affordable housing sector, having previously worked at Cobalt Housing and prior to that, Plus Dane Housing.
He said: “I’ve always valued true collaboration in the industry. I find public and private sector partnerships so rewarding when high quality homes and places are created for communities and the opportunity to do this with Castle Green Homes was just too good to miss.
“While the challenges to delivery are familiar to many – whether policy, market conditions, competition and striving for higher standards – I personally find it a rewarding journey that demands creativity and determination to deliver results.
“So many skilled and passionate people all need to play their part in the process, and I’m privileged to be central to it all in my partnerships role at Castle Green Homes.”
Two appointments, Redrow

Redrow North West has promoted two team members to director roles, strengthening its construction and land teams.
Ian Roberton (pictured left) has been promoted to construction director after joining the business in 2013 as an assistant site manager and progressing through several roles including site manager and area construction manager.
He said: “I got my first break through my family’s joinery business, spending weekends working with them before becoming an apprentice joiner working on sites across the North West. I’ve always been supported by an excellent team. I always wanted to work for Redrow.”
Paul Murray (pictured right) has been appointed land and planning director. He also joined Redrow in 2013, after studying planning at university, and has progressed from an assistant planner to planner, senior planning manager to head of planning and then strategic land director.
He said: “I first joined Redrow as a 22-year-old, I don’t think I appreciated what I would become part of.”
Two appointments, Wavensmere Homes

Wavensmere Homes has announced two new hires for its commercial team, to support the procurement function of the business, both pre and post contract
Ollie Ingram joins from Miller Homes as assistant quantity surveyor, where he had worked as a trainee quantity surveyor since 2024. Prior to that, he commenced his professional career at engineering and development consultancy Mott Macdonald.
Richard Routley has joined the company as commercial manager from his own consultancy, Routley Commercial Management, where he oversaw large, high-value development projects on behalf of clients including Caddick Construction, Speller Metcalfe and Shaylor Group. Prior to that, he was employed as a senior quantity surveyor for St Modwen Homes.
Matt Brighton, commercial director of Wavensmere Homes, said: “Richard has a very strong track record and excellent industry experience, so he has much to bring to this pivotal role, while Ollie has three years of invaluable training and knowledge under his belt and will be a tremendous asset to the business.”
Deborah Newbould, Reginox UK

Reginox UK has announced Deborah Newbould as its new area sales manager for the north – one of the Cheshire-based business’s key territories.
She arrives having spent 15 years working across multiple areas of the KBB and housebuilding sectors, and replaces Rebekah Tomkinson, who has left Reginox after 12 years to pursue a long-held ambition to work in education.
Of her new role, Newbould said: “Having worked in the sector for so long, you quickly learn which brands have the best reputation – whether it’s sinks, taps, flooring or appliances. Reginox is a name you hear consistently in a positive way, which really stood out to me.”
Dave Mayer, Reginox UK’s commercial director, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Deborah to the team. We think she’ll be a real asset, especially with her experience and knowledge of our sectors and her strong relationship and business development skills.”
James Saunders, BPSDC

Battersea Power Station Development Company (BPSDC) has named James Saunders as its new CEO, to join the business on 7 April 2026.
Saunders has accumulated extensive experience in large-scale urban regeneration, asset management and placemaking. He spent the last 18 years building and spearheading the mixed-use Wembley Park estate at Quintain, serving as commercial director, chief operating officer and, most recently, six years as CEO.
BPSDC’s interim CEO, Sam Cotton, has announced that he will be leaving the company at the end of April.
Datuk Zaini, chairman of BPSDC, said of Cotton: “He leaves with the board’s sincere thanks for his leadership and significant contribution over the past decade.”
He added: “I would like to warmly welcome James to the Battersea Power Station team. As we move into the next phase of growth, his experience and leadership will be instrumental in continuing to strengthen the destination and delivering on our long-term vision. We wish him every success in the role.”
Adam Hills, LRG

LRG has promoted Adam Hills to client services director within its Build to Rent (BTR) division LRG Living Markets.
Hills takes the role after 13 years with Leaders, most recently as area manager.
He said: “It’s an incredibly exciting time at LRG Living Markets. The asset management growth plan is ambitious and clearly focused on delivering long-term value through operational excellence and strong resident outcomes.
“I’m really looking forward to further strengthening service delivery and asset performance management with the team, to ensure we continue to offer a consistent, high-quality client experience across Living Markets.”
Commenting on the appointment, David Wilson, chief operating officer for LRG, said of Hills: “He brings extensive leadership and operational expertise from his time at Leaders, where he was recognised for improving performance, upholding regulatory excellence, and delivering consistently high standards of customer service. As a fully qualified MARLA, Adam is deeply committed to professionalism, compliance, and best practice.”
Hugo Trower, Pluto Finance

Pluto Finance has expanded its UK team with the appointment of Hugo Trower as lending director, to focus on debt finance solutions for developers and housebuilders across the UK.
A chartered surveyor, Trower began his career in the development team at Savills, before moving into investment and residential development finance. He joins from Barwood Capital, where he spent seven years helping to establish and grow the firm’s residential investment business. Most recently he served as chief operating officer of Barwood Capital’s residential platform, which provides joint venture equity to SME housebuilders.
Mario Ioannides, partner at Pluto Finance, said: “Hugo brings strong experience from across the residential development and investment landscape and we are very pleased to welcome him to the team.”
Trower added: “I am delighted to be joining the team. I look forward to working with developers and housebuilders across the UK to structure debt solutions that support the delivery of new homes.”
Aaron de Silva, Close Brothers Property Finance

Close Brothers Property Finance has appointed Aaron de Silva as business development director.
Across his 15-year career in property, de Silva has gained experience across residential development, conveyancing and property finance. He began his career leading agencies including Hamptons and Knight Frank, advising asset managers and developers on new-build launches, sales strategy and developer positioning. He later played a pivotal role in expanding a Northern-based legal firm’s new-build conveyancing division into London and the South.
De Silva joins from Relendex, where he spent six years specialising in structuring development finance for SME housebuilders. In 2025, he was appointed director of the R&B Housebuilders Forum, the UK’s largest independent network for SME developers.
Of his appointment, de Silva said: “Close Brothers Property Finance has built a strong reputation as a long-term partner for SME housebuilders, and I’m excited to help support the next phase of the division’s growth.”
Two appointments, Magnet

Magnet has recently strengthened its executive leadership team with two senior appointments, welcoming Rupert Nichols as customer and commercial director and Guy Tooth as supply chain director.
Nichols (pictured right) brings more than 15 years of senior leadership experience across retail and ecommerce, with a strong track record of driving customer-led growth and commercial transformation. Most recently, he was customer and commercial director at Toolstation and had previously held senior leadership roles at Studio Retail, Dixons Carphone and Sainsbury’s.
Guy Tooth (pictured left) joins Magnet as supply chain director, bringing more than 15 years of leadership experience across supply chain and operations in manufacturing-led environments. He has held senior roles at Greencore, Morrisons and PepsiCo, and most recently served as operations and supply chain director at Moores Furniture Group.
