Joel Anderson, construction manager at Morrish Homes, said: “David has been a real asset to the business since he joined nearly three years ago, and we’re delighted to see him step into this well-deserved leadership role at Rialton. His hard work, professionalism and calm approach have contributed significantly to the continued success of the site – particularly during the recent handovers to our housing association partner, Ocean.”
“David brings with him a wealth of experience, great character and a natural ability to lead on site. He’s a valued member of the team, and we look forward to supporting him as he continues to grow in this new role.”

Corrick’s long career in construction started at the age of 17. He was an apprentice carpenter that used to sub-contract for Persimmon back in 1998 before a spell as a self-employed carpenter. Following this, he held several supervisory roles for carpentry companies before heading into project management for a local building company until 2016, before joining Persimmon.
Commenting on his appointment, Corrick said: “My career started with Persimmon and I’d like to think that I could end my working days at here, so I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into my new role and doing a good job for the company.”

Joe Bruckland, MD of JVB Construction Ltd, said: “Stewart has a wealth of both hands-on and leadership experience, meaning he is ideally placed to support and strengthen our rapidly growing team. By taking over the day-to-day responsibility of our existing sites, Stewart’s appointment will ensure that all of our schemes continue to adhere to our exacting, high standards, while allowing me to focus more time on the company’s future growth.”
Steve Phillips, bdht

Housing provider Bromsgrove District Housing Trust (bdht), has announced a key appointment, with Steve Phillips taking the role of head of asset management and development.
Having been working in social housing since 2001, he has joined from Trident Housing Association, where he was decarbonisation project manager and then head of assets and compliance.
Philips said: “From an assets perspective, my priority is to make sure customers are warm and comfortable in their home and that their property is well-maintained. Continuous investment is central to making this happen – it is the catalyst for helping deliver wider benefits, such as reduced energy costs, as well as protecting people’s overall health and wellbeing.
“The regulatory landscape and requirements are continuously changing – it’s for me and my team to make sure our buildings are up to standard; we deliver on best practice; continue to improve, and ultimately, help our customers.”
