Barratt Redrow has partnered with Rightmove, the UK’s largest property platform, to launch Appointment Booking.
Home-movers can now select real time availability to visit a Barratt Redrow development, with the appointment directly integrating into the sales teams’ calendar at Barratt Redrow.
The tool is a first-of-its-kind that allows home-hunters to schedule viewings for new build homes directly from Rightmove listings for all of Barratt Redrow’s brands – Barratt Homes, Barratt London, David Wilson Homes and Redrow.
Barratt Redrow says that the partnership marks a significant step in the digitisation of the new homes journey, offering buyers greater flexibility and immediacy as demand for convenience among buyers, in particular first-time buyers and younger audiences, increases.
Appointment Booking is now live across selected Barratt Redrow developments, with plans to expand it further.
By enabling real-time appointment booking, Rightmove says that the tool helps developers connect with engaged buyers at the moment of peak interest, while also enhancing the home-mover experience by making it easier for them to take the next step in their property search. The introduction of Appointment Booking is expected to help developers meet expectations while capturing high-intent leads.
Rightmove has also launched a tool that is now available for all new build developers – Appointment Request. This streamlines the way viewing interest is captured and managed by allowing prospective buyers to request viewings directly through the listing, helping developers respond faster and convert interest into appointments more efficiently.
Alex Slater, commercial director – new homes at Rightmove, said, “We’re proud to launch Appointment Booking with Barratt Redrow, a first-of-its-kind digital innovation for the new homes sector.”
“This marks an exciting milestone in our mission to digitise key parts of the home-buying journey.”
“We’re committed to supporting developers deliver a seamless experience for buyers, and this is a great example of how technology can support that goal.”
Steve Mariner, sales and marketing director at Barratt Redrow, said, “We are delighted to be working with Rightmove on this new digital innovation. It’s all about simplifying the house buying process, making it easier for high-intent customers to book an appointment at the click of a button.
