With the 2025 WhatHouse? Awards just a couple of months away, Rory Wilkinson, digital editor of Show House, sat down with the co-founders of Awards sponsor, Moveplus, Neil Tayler and Kelly Howe, to find out more about the company and what drew them to get involved with the event.
Tell us a little about Moveplus and your roles at the company
Moveplus is the UK’s premier part exchange and assisted move specialist, collaborating with many of the country’s housebuilders to manage these schemes seamlessly on their behalf.
Being a sponsor is a great way to align our brand with quality and excellence in the housing sector, and it signifies a strong partnership with the industry
We are the co-founders and joint managing directors of Moveplus and 2025 saw us mark a milestone celebrating our third birthday in April.
What roles do part exchange and assisted move play in the buying and selling process and how does Moveplus support housebuilders?
Both schemes are a vital selling tool in today’s market and help customers with the sale of their existing home to purchase their new home. With the challenges faced in the conveyancing system, sales progression is also a vital part of the service we provide. Supporting our housebuilder clients to offer these schemes, this enables our clients to focus on building quality homes.
What was it that attracted you to sponsoring the WhatHouse? Awards?
Being a sponsor is a great way to align our brand with quality and excellence in the housing sector, and it signifies a strong partnership with the industry.

How important are the WhatHouse? Awards to the housebuilding industry?
For over 40 years, the Awards have been the premier platform for recognising excellence in UK housebuilding and celebrates the absolute best in the sector. This is also the only annual event which attracts over 1,500 guests who come together to celebrate the industry.
What is your favourite part of attending the WhatHouse? Awards?
Our favourite part of attending the Awards is getting to spend time and socialise with our housebuilder clients. It’s also a great opportunity to network with colleagues, friends and peers.
What does the future hold for Moveplus and how does sponsoring the Awards support that?
Announcing our sponsorship signifies another exciting chapter in our plans for 2025 as we continue to innovate and drive success. Focusing on delivering a quality and reliable service remains a key focus for us as well as managing the growth of the business with likeminded individuals.
