We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.

Three appointments, Stonebridge Homes

Carolyn Forshaw, Emma Swannick, Chris Kelly, Stonebridge HomesStonebridge Homes has announced several new appointments and promotions: Carolyn Forshaw, with a track record of 25 years in the sector, is financial director; Emma Swannick has been promoted to the position of design and planning director; and Chris Kelly is promoted to the position of sales director.

 

Three appointments, Retirement Villages Group

Duncan Matthews, Simon Dickinson, Joanna Atkins, Retirement Villages GroupRetirement Villages Group has made three senior appointments: Duncan Matthews brings over 20 years’ experience to the role of development director; Simon Dickinson, previously regional operations director at Bupa, is the new sales and marketing director; and Joanna Atkins, with 25 years’ nursing experience, joins as head of care, wellbeing and community.

 

Alex Lawson, Barratt Developments

Alex Lawson, Barratt DevelopmentsBarratt Developments North East has appointed a new commercial director to its board. With a first class honours degree in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University, Alex Lawson began his career in civil engineering and joined Barratt in November 2022, climbing the ladder to the position of head of commercial.

 

Annalise Cook, Legal & General Capital

Annalise Cook, Legal & General CapitalAnnalise Cook has joined Legal & General Capital as its new senior investment associate for housing. She was previously at Build to Rent developer Hub Residential, where she worked with its investors on new acquisitions, disposals, strategy and capital raising. Prior to this, she worked at CBRE Capital Advisors in their investment banking team.

 

Seb Spiller, Persimmon Homes

Seb Spiller, Persimmon HomesPersimmon Homes Wessex has promoted Seb Spiller to the role of deputy managing director. Previously technical director for the region, he has been at the housebuilder for nine years, originally joining as an engineer then taking on subsequent positions of engineering manager, then head of technical before his first director position.

 

Ashley Dollin, Dandara Living

Ashley Dollin, Dandara LivingDandara Living has appointed Ashley Dollin to its senior leadership team as mobilisation manager, bringing with her extensive operational experience and expertise, having spent several years working in the multifamily sector in the USA. “I am thrilled to join Dandara Living at such a pivotal time,” she remarked.

 

Sean Durnan, Avant Homes

Sean Durnan, Avant HomesSean Durnan joins Avant Homes from Persimmon Homes as group health and safety manager. He commented: “I am working closely with the expert teams within each of our operating companies to ensure we adhere to our stringent health and safety standards while delivering quality new homes for everyone.”

 

Ellen Leedham, Beau Property Home Staging

Ellen Leedham, Beau Property Home StagingEllen Leedham has left Suna to join Beau Property Home Staging at director level, arriving with over 15 years’ experience as an interior designer working on show homes and interiors across the different residential sectors. Previous clients include Berkeley Homes, Countryside, Hill Group, Network Homes, London Square and Mount Anvil.

 

Jillian Love, Women in Property

Jillian Love, Women in PropertyJillian Love, marketing and bid professional at Gardiner & Theobald, is set to assume the role of Women in Property’s Central Scotland chair from March for one year. She said: “I have gained so much confidence through the support of Women in Property and aim to continue to drive a programme that sparks inspiration, and empowers us all to act.”

 

Spencer Clarke, IRSAP

Spencer Clarke, IRSAPIRSAP has announced the appointment of Spencer Clarke as specification sales manager. Spencer brings over 20 years of experience to his new role promoting the company’s brands, The Radiator Company and Clyde Radiators. He said: “I am excited to join a company that has a beautiful product portfolio with such attention to detail.”

 

David Buzby, Wondrwall

David Buzby, WondrwallIntelligent home technology provider Wondrwall has appointed David Buzby as chair. He brings over 30 years of executive experience spanning the technology and energy sectors and will continue his role as Chairman of Stem Inc. He commented: “My decision to invest in Wondrwall was the result of an exhaustive 18-month research endeavour.”
