Mark Hughes, Barratt Developments
Mark Hughes, with close on 20 years’ industry experience, has joined Bristol-based Barratt David Wilson Homes South West as the new head of construction. He started his career as a trainee with Linden Homes and has held previous roles at Redrow, McCarthy and Stone, David Wilson Homes, St Modwen Homes and most recently Crest Nicholson.
Robert Volosyanko, Redrow
Robert Volosyanko has been welcomed by Redrow’s Yorkshire division as part of the company’s two-year graduate training scheme. Having attained a BSc Economics and Finance at The University of Bristol, he will join 12 other graduates across the UK in Redrow’s 2023 Graduate Development Programme.
Darren Farmer, Piper Homes
Piper Homes has announced the promotion of Darren Farmer to the position of operations director. To date, he has amassed over 35 years of experience in project, operational and technical roles. He said: “I’m looking forward to continuing to work with and support our teams and the board as we progress the business.”
Andy Roberts, Cube Homes
Cube Homes has added an experienced project manager to the team with the appointment of Andy Roberts. He has a quantity surveying degree from Salford University and extensive experience in the property and construction industry having worked for Poole Dick, Baker Hollingworth and residential property developer LPC Living.
Simon Gilbert, Allison Homes
Allison Homes South West has appointed a new land and partnerships director. Simon Gilbert has joined with a wealth of experience in the housebuilding industry, spending 14 years at Barratt Developments plc as development director, and holding director-level positions at Countryside Properties and Ilke Homes.
Neil Baumber, Beech Holdings
Neil Baumber has joined Beech Holdings to lead its residential team as development director following eight years with Peel L&P. He brings with him more than 20 years of experience having starting his career as director of business development at Dane Housing, then moving to senior roles at Irwell Valley Housing Association and Steel Green.
Aidan McMahon, Rockwell
Rockwell has announced the appointment of Aidan McMahon as its head of sales. He joins from Knight Frank LLP and brings over 16 years’ sales experience to his new role. He commented: “Working closely with Rockwell in recent months on the launch of Hurlingham Waterfront to market has been a hugely valuable experience.”
Brian Moran, Jigsaw Homes
Brian Moran, currently the deputy chief executive of Tameside-based housing provider Jigsaw Homes, will take on the CEO role in 2024. He has been part of the housing provider since it was created through the merging of Adactus and New Charter Homes in 2018. Prior to that, he was the director of corporate services at Adactus.
Lee Parry, Countryside Partnerships
Countryside Partnerships has welcomed Lee Parry as managing director for the North-East Midlands. He joins from Keepmoat Homes where he worked as construction operations director, before becoming interim managing director. He commented: “It’s a privilege to be working with such a great team.”
Nicky Partridge, Connells Group
The Connells Group Land and New Homes team have a new director for the north of England and Scotland. Nicky Partridge began working for Countrywide almost 20 years ago as an estate agent and has previously worked for nine years as a senior manager at Preston Baker and three years at Sequence Land and New Homes.
