We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.
Ian Hilliker, Persimmon Homes
Persimmon North West has appointed a new managing director. Ian Hilliker joins with more than 30 years of experience in the industry, most recently serving as North West managing director at Vistry Partnerships. Prior to that, he spent 18 years at Barratt Homes with 11 years as technical director working out of its Manchester office.
Annie Williams, Baker Estates
Baker Estates has announced the promotion of Annie Williams to sales and marketing director. She has held senior sales roles previously with Redrow, Linden Homes, and Persimmon before joining the company in 2019. She said: “This new, more advanced position presents an incredible opportunity for me to positively impact people’s lives.”
Jolyon Harrison, Inland Homes
Inland Homes has appointed a new chief executive. Jolyon Harrison has been in the housebuilding industry for some 50 years. He was MJ Gleeson plc CEO and previously been managing director of Gleeson Homes. He was founder and chairman of Pelham Construction/NorthCountry Homes Group and MD of Shepherd Homes.
Ian Conway, Cala Homes
Cala Homes has promoted Ian Conway to managing director of its West of Scotland business. Bringing more than two decades of industry experience to the senior leadership team, he joined Cala Homes (West) in 2017 and was promoted to the West of Scotland board of directors in 2018 as strategic projects director.
Three appointments, Regal London
Regal London expands its marketing team with three new hires: Tim Hiskett joins from Related Argent LLP as marketing director; with 14 years’ experience in digital marketing, Deepa Arthur joins as head of digital and social; and Lauryn Brown joins the team as social media and content producer.
David Palfreman, Avant Homes
Avant Homes East Midlands has appointed David Palfreman as head of customer service. He joins from Countryside Partnerships, has more than six years’ experience in the housebuilding industry, having also held similar positions at Redrow and Morris Homes. He said: “I’m excited to join the business at such a positive time.”
Emily Ratcliffe, Redrow
Emily Ratcliffe as re-joined the team at Redrow Lancashire’s head office in Chorley as customer services manager. From working in the finance industry, she first joined the company in 2013. After more than five years, she moved on to gain further customer service experience with other residential developers.
Lee Caulfield, Baxi
Baxi has announced the appointment of Lee Caulfield as its new head of sales for residential specification. With 15 years working in the residential new build and social housing sector and a previous role as sales director at Titon Hardware. He said: “I am really excited to join the heating industry at such an exciting time of innovation and development.”
