We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.
David Brown, TopHat
TopHat has appointed David Brown as chief financial officer, joining from JCB, where he was chief financial officer for six years from 2016. He said: “I am delighted to be joining a business which is harnessing technology and leading manufacturing processes and bringing this to homebuilding at scale.”
Nicola Bullivant, Allison Homes
Allison Homes Eastern Counties has appointed its first head of sales and marketing. Nicola Bullivant began her role at the end of March. She joins with over 30 years of experience in the industry. Previous roles include five years at Bloor Homes’ Eastern region and, more recently, at Hopkins Homes as head of sales and marketing.
Lee Jones, SevenHomes
SevenHomes has welcomed a new senior hire to its land and planning team. Lee Jones joins as senior technical manager and brings with him over 20 years’ worth of experience. He began his career after achieving a degree in Architecture from Birmingham City University and has worked for Taylor Wimpey, McCarthy Stone and most recently Talbot Homes.
Darren Humphreys, Miller Homes
Having spent more 30 years in the industry, Darren Humphreys has been become the first regional MD for Miller Homes’ West Midlands office. Beginning as a graduate trainee with Bryant Homes, rising through the ranks as a surveyor before joining the commercial team, become commercial director. He joins from the central region team at Tilia Homes.
Tristin Willis, Keepmoat
Keepmoat has announced the appointment of Tristin Willis as Regional Managing Director to head up the East Midlands arm of the business. He brings with him more than 20 year’s experience in the construction industry. Most recently he was executive director (construction) at ilke Homes, and he also spent seven years with Crest Nicholson.
Three appointments, Taylor Wimpey
Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has welcomed two new senior appointments to its West Scotland board of directors, with Craig Benson as finance director and Martin Findlay as technical director joining the team based in its regional office in Paisley. Graeme Smith, former finance director, has been promoted to the role of divisional finance director.
Richard Hosie, Avant Homes
Richard Hosie has appointed a managing director of Avant Homes West Yorkshire. He was previously a managing director for Persimmon Homes, has 19 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry. He commented: “I have joined a talented team full of highly capable and committed people.”
Gareth Hankin, Persimmon Homes
Persimmon Homes Nottingham has named a new managing director. Gareth Hankin said: “I am absolutely thrilled to be taking on this role. We have a great team here in Nottingham and I look forward to working to growing the business in an area of great opportunity. Supporting customers is the cornerstone of our business.”
Three appointments, Warwickshire Property & Development Group
Warwickshire Property & Development Group (WPDG) has announced chartered surveyor trainee Chris John as property officer; Mandeep Padan, working for RICS accreditation, as asset manager; and Sanna Lone, who is targeting becoming an ACCA qualified chartered accountant, as finance analyst.
Tony Quigley, Red Loft
Property consultancy Red Loft launching a Southwest England division, appointing Tony Quigley as director. His many years in the industry in that region includes over 15 years at Sovereign, where his most recent role was director of commercial operations and home ownership. He has also had roles at Aster and local authorities.
