Kirsty Hughes, Redrow
Having worked for housebuilder Redrow for the past eight years in the roles of sales consultant and latterly a senior sales consultant, Kirsty Hughes has joined the Chorley-based Lancashire division as a trainee sales manager. She commented: “The Redrow brand, marketing and systems are second to none.”
Mark Wheelan, Persimmon Homes
Persimmon Homes Teesside has appointed a new construction director. Mark Wheelan has more than 35 years’ experience, re-joins the business after a decade away, having previously served as contracts manager between 2005 and 2012. In his new role, he will manage a team of more than 200, including 16 apprentices.
Tom Baker, Vistry Group
Having completed his Level 3 Construction and the Built Environment course at North Kent College, Tom Baker is now working as trainee assistant site manager on the construction of Bovis Homes properties at the development, off Chequer Lane. The 18-year-old is also studying for his Level 4 construction NVQ alongside the job on site.
Julia Portington, Harron Homes
Harron Homes North Midlands has recently announced that Julia Portington has been promoted from sales executive to senior sales executive. Prior to joining the company in July 2022, she had racked up 16 years of experience as a sales executive for another housebuilder, and gained 22 years of experience as a sales manager in previous roles.
Jacqueline England, Dolphin Living
Dolphin Living has welcomed Jacqueline England as customer services director. She joins having worked for over 12 years at M&S. Before her move she was head of food and clothing & home in store experience, following other roles there such as head of customer service improvement & change, and senior customer experience manager.
Dan Jackson, Fisher & Paykel
Fisher & Paykel has appointed Dan Jackson as its new head of customer experience in the UK. He first entered the domestic appliance servicing industry in 2012 as an apprentice at Birmingham College while employed by electrical retailer Currys. He has been a field service engineer and create a trade-only technical forum for all domestic appliance engineers.
Helen Pickstock, Women in Property
Women in Property has appointed a new South East branch chair. Helen Pickstock is executive director in Coutts’ real estate team and has started in the role on 1 March for one year. She is a general-practice chartered surveyor who has spent the majority of her career working in finance, and has been a member of Women in Property since 2012.
