Lesley Chen Davison, Telford Homes

Lesley Chen Davison, Telford HomesTelford Homes has announced the appointment of Build to Rent (BTR) veteran Lesley Chen Davison as its new chief operating officer. Her BTR experience includes 14 years as a senior director at Delancey. Most recently, she served as the head of commercial strategy for GoSpace AI Limited, with previous roles in ancillary property sectors.

 

Harlan Bevis, Persimmon Homes

Harlan Bevis, Persimmon HomesPersimmon Homes has appointed a new construction director in its South West region. Harlan Bevis, who has 30 years leadership experience in the housing industry progressing from carpenter to foreman and site manager, is a serial NHBC Pride in the Job winner and joins from Barratt David Wilson, where he served as a construction director.

 

Catherine Williams, Bellway

Catherine Williams, BellwayBellway Essex has appointed a new planning director, Catherine Williams, who has joined from Savills, after rising from planner to planning director there in the space of just 10 years. She studied at Loughborough University and graduated with a degree in politics in 2008, going on to study for her masters in town and regional planning at Sheffield University.

 

Mark Bray, Avant Homes

Mark Bray, Avant HomesAvant Homes has strengthened its senior team in its Central region, based in Chesterfield, with the appointment of Mark Bray as a technical director. He joins from Countryside Partnerships and has more than 40 years’ experience in local government and the construction and housebuilding sectors.

 

Justin Tranmere, Miller Homes

Justin Tranmere, Miller HomesMiller Homes Yorkshire has promoted Justin Tranmere from commercial director to operations director. He joined the company in 2018 having gained 18 years’ experience with a national housebuilder completing his HNC and HND in Building Studies with the University of Leeds.

 

Bradley Stone, Crest Nicholson

Bradley Stone, Crest NicholsonCrest Nicholson has announced the internal appointment of Bradley Stone as head of land and planning for the South West division. With over 10 years’ experience working in the property industry, he has been at the company for over 18 months and was previously associate development & investment director.

 

Fiona Fletcher-Smith, G15

Fiona Fletcher-Smith, G15L&Q boss Fiona Fletcher-Smith is set to be the new chair of the G15, the group of large London housing associations. A chartered surveyor with almost 30 years of experience in the housing sector, she was appointed as L&Q’s chief executive in September 2020, having previously worked as its director of development and sales.

 

Marcus Weeks, Firethorn Trust

Marcus Weeks, Firethorn TrustFirethorn Trust has launched its new Living Platform with the appointment of Marcus Weeks as director and head of living focusing on PBSA and BTR. He brings over over a decade of experience in the sector, most recently with Unite Group Plc for six years as acquisitions and development director. Prior to this, he was at CBRE for three years.

 

Peter Shepherd, Muir Homes

Peter Shepherd, Muir HomesPeter Shepherd has been appointed as managing director of Muir Homes, bringing with him over 30 years’ experience in the housing development sector, predominantly with Mactaggart & Mickel Homes. He said: “Joining as managing director gives me the opportunity to steer the business focus to regional markets.”

 

David Simpson, Moores

David Simpson, MooresBuilding on his six years with the business, David Simpson has stepped into the role of channel director for the Private Development channel for Moores. He commented: “I am excited to move into this role as Moores have recently invested in a number of strategic appointments to the senior leadership team.”

 

Martin Hellenas, Rendall & Rittner

Martin Hellenas, Rendall & RittnerRendall & Rittner has promoted Martin Hellenas to divisional director of one of its London divisions. Most recently, he has worked as an area director at the company. Previous roles in the industry include six years at Erinaceous Group as well as being an associate director at Premier Estates. He joined Rendall & Rittner in 2019.
