Steve Cresswell, Thakeham Group

Steve Cresswell of Thakeham Group Steve Cresswell has moved from his role of southern regional managing director at Kier Construction to join developer Thakeham Group as chief operating officer. Over five years, he ran three offices at Kier’s southern division and has had previous roles at Miller Construction as an area director and eight years at Morgan Sindall prior to that.

 

Darryl Palmer, Barratt Developments

Darryl Palmer of Barratt DevelopmentsBarratt and David Wilson (BDW) North Thames has taken on Darryl Palmer as senior land manager at its Watford-based head office, responsible for the acquisition of new sites for residential development. He said: “I am excited to take up this position with BDW North Thames, as I will now have the resource to significantly broaden my experience in strategic acquisitions.”

 

Mark Gratton, Wise Living

Mark Gratton of Wise LivingBuild-to-rent specialist Wise Living has appointed Mark Gratton as its development and land manager, to work with regional and national developers looking to expand into the private rental sector. He started his career with Fisher German before working as development surveyor at Rigby & Co in Derby.

 

Laura Carty, David Wilson Homes

Laura Carty of David Wilson HomesLaura Carty has swapped her sales adviser role for that of trainee assistant site manager at the David Wilson Homes Galloway Grange development in Chelford, Cheshire. She follows her father’s footsteps: he is construction director in Northampton for another developer. “The support I have received is amazing,” she said.

 

Philip Rolfe, Audley Group

Philip Rolfe of Audley GroupLuxury retirement villages provider Audley Group, has announced the appointment of Philip Rolfe as development director, to work alongside construction director Kevin Hudson and report to managing director Kevin Shaw. With some 29 years’ experience in property, he joins from PMR Building Consultancy where he was managing director.
