Miller Homes Scotland West has secured a 15.5-acre site in Bargeddie, North Lanarkshire, for a development of 114 homes to be called Woodland Grange.
It will deliver a range of three, four and five-bedroom homes and follows recent land purchases in Hamilton, Winchburgh and Bellshill.
The site is set on the edge of the village and close to Drumpellier Country Park, and was identified by Miller Homes as one of the strongest residential opportunities in the area, located just eight miles from Glasgow city centre.
Andrew McArthur, regional operations director at Miller Homes Scotland West, said: “Land opportunities like this don’t come around very often. What stood out immediately was the location. You’re only a short distance from Glasgow but standing here on the site you’d never know it.
“There’s a real sense of space here, with green surroundings, established communities and everything people need close at hand.
“Bargeddie has become increasingly popular in recent years and it’s easy to see why. It offers excellent connectivity, a strong community feel and access to fantastic outdoor space. Those qualities make it a very attractive place to build.
“We’re delighted to have secured the site and look forward to bringing Woodland Grange forward in the years ahead.”
Further details on Woodland Grange will be announced ahead of the development’s launch in early autumn.
