Ross Clarkson, Beal Homes
Beal Homes has appointed an experienced senior executive from national housebuilder Taylor Wimpey as its new sales and marketing director.
Ross Clarkson joins Beal to lead the next phase of sales growth for the regional housebuilder, having previously worked for Taylor Wimpey, Bellway and Yorkshire-based Ben Bailey Homes.
Patty Taylor and Nidhi Kapoor, Caesarstone UK
Premium surface manufacturer, Caesarstone UK, has announced the appointment of two new national account managers for its Housebuilder division. Patty Taylor joins to focus on the South, whilst Nidhi Kapoor’s focus will be on the North.
Patty Taylor brings over two decades of invaluable experience to her new role, having served in various capacities across diverse sectors, including gold mining in SGS Canada, and within the highways and HVAC sectors in the UK. Nidhi Kapoor has over twenty years of management experience in the trade and retail sectors, having worked both in the UK and internationally for brands such as Jewson and George Boyd Architectural Ironmongery.
James Griffin, Bellway
Bellway has appointed James Griffin as its new Group Construction Director to oversee building practices and quality across its 21 operating divisions.
James joins the company after 17 years with the NHBC, working his way up from Building Inspector to Regional Director for the Eastern Region. He will play a key role in the delivery of the company’s strategic priorities, including the move to the Future Homes Standard and the shift towards timber frame construction and low-carbon technologies.
Bob Kerr, SCIS
SCIS, the leading provider of energy efficiency solutions, has announced the appointment of Bob Kerr as its new Managing Director.
With a strong background in utilities and energy, Bob brings over three decades of experience to his role, having previously held various operational management positions at British Gas and Capita.
Bob’s appointment underscores SCIS’s commitment to driving innovation and excellence in the energy efficiency sector.
Iain Murray, Association for Rental Living
The ARL (formerly UKAA) has appointed Iain Murray as the new Chair of the ARL Scotland Hub. Murray, Head of Operational Living at Bidwells, will take over from current Chair Gillian McLees on 10th May 2024, following the Living Asset Specialist’s two-year tenure as Chair of the Scotland Hub.
ARL’s Scotland Hub brings together key living sector stakeholders through a diverse range of events that proactively address the key challenges and opportunities for the sector, showcase best practices and focus on customer service and other key operational and investment concerns.
James Malkin, Keylite Roof Windows
Europe’s fastest growing roof window brand, Keylite Roof Windows, has appointed James Malkin as Sales Director to help continue to boost sales and growth.
Arriving with 25 years of experience in the building sector, James will share his extensive knowledge and skills with the award-winning brand after his time at Aliaxis, which represents six brands across the UK.
John Bristow, Plentific
Plentific, the leading provider of real-time property solutions, has appointed John Bristow to the role of Senior Vice President of Customer Success. In the role, John will grow Plentific’s client-facing function to help clients optimise their time and resources by driving efficiencies within their property operations management business. He will also be part of the international leadership team and support the continued scale-up of the business.
Peter Hutson, Elivia Homes
Elivia Homes has appointed Peter Hutson as Managing Director of its Eastern region. Peter moves from the company’s Central region where he held the position of Construction Director for the last eight years. Peter will lead Elivia’s newest region, which was formed following the acquisition of Millwood Designer Homes in January 2023 and successful rebrand last November. He will be responsible for expanding the business in line with the company’s wider ambitious growth targets, overseeing an active land acquisition programme and maintaining the region’s outstanding performance in customer service. Peter will head up an experienced team of over 40 and have overall responsibility for developments across Kent, East Sussex and Essex.
