elementalLONDON, a new exhibition focused on the twin aims of advancing building efficiency and decarbonisation, is set to open its doors at London’s Excel on 19-20 November 2025.
The 4,000 attendees expected at elementalLONDON encompass a variety of roles and disciplines across residential and commercial buildings. The common thread across the community of decision-makers is responsibility for the reduction of energy use and carbon emissions in the built environment.
The two-day programme includes over 200 expert speakers across five theatres from government, industry and academia, featuring keynote speakers and debates on decarbonisng the built environment. The National Home Improvement Council Knowledge Hub will also provide a range of valuable information, from the Future Homes Hub to the Warm Homes Plan.
The Climate Solutions Theatre will showcase heating and cooling issues and solutions in commercial and public buildings, a key area of decarbonisation.
Peer-to-peer learning will also play a key role in the programme, with visitors given the chance to collaborate with others, share knowledge and exchange ideas from their own projects and challenges, which will help ensure better outcomes for all.
elementalLONDON will also feature over 200 exhibitors across a wide variety of key industry sectors, including leading brands operating in the built environment and a wide selection of heating, cooling, ventilation, renewable energy and building management systems providers.
Taking centre stage at the exhibition will be the HAUS, a full-scale two-storey house build designed by award-winning architects IF_DO and built using regenerative materials by Natural Building Systems.
The HAUS is built using NBS’s ADEPT integrated and demountable modular system to ensure it can be completed within an incredibly tight timeframe. ADEPT is designed for full adaptability and non-destructive disassembly to aid circularity and reuse.
As part of a long-term strategic partnership, the long running and widely respected CIBSE Build2Perform Live will be aligned with elementalLONDON for 2025 and beyond, offering an enhanced experience for exhibitors and visitors alike, drawing on the expertise of both event teams.
The hallmarks of Build2Perform Live will also be at elementalLONDON through live content sessions, including the CIBSE-approved CPD programme in the two Build2Perform Theatres.
The ‘Synergy’ and ‘Influence’ Theatres will deliver a programme of engaging topics for building services engineers and the wider industry.
elementalLONDON will be working closely with leading industry associations, including Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) and Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), to ensure that its message is delivered to an engaged audience across the wide range of sectors that the show will cover.
