Onsite training for Royal Engineers with Redrow
Redrow is now working with the Royal School of Military Engineering (RSME) to provide onsite experience of a range of trade skills and recently invited Royal Engineers from Brompton Barracks, Chatham to its development in Ebbsfleet, Kent as it started a series of workshops for aspiring male and female engineers. The housebuilder will host eight workshops on trades such as bricklaying, carpentry and drylining, giving 96 18- to 30-year-olds the chance to complement the RSME skills courses with practical learning on the development. On completion of their training, the Royal Engineers will be posted to carry out construction and maintenance on UK bases around the world.
