Diane Howcroft, Persimmon Homes
Persimmon Homes Lancashire has announced the appointment of Diane Howcroft as its new land director.
Howcroft brings nearly two decades of experience in the housebuilding and development sector to her new role, with extensive expertise in land acquisition, strategic planning, partnership housing and development delivery. She takes up the positiom after more than four years with Persimmon Homes, most recently serving as head of partnership homes.
She began her career at Persimmon as a graduate, initially within the Lancashire Land team before moving to the North West business, providing her with a strong grounding in land acquisition, planning, viability and negotiation. Her career has also included senior development and land management roles with leading housebuilders across the North West.
Commenting on her appointment, Howcroft said: “Having spent much of my career working across the North West, I’m passionate about creating opportunities for new homes and thriving communities. I look forward to working with colleagues, landowners and stakeholders as we continue delivering high-quality homes across our region.”
Lisa Johnson, Compendium Living
Regeneration specialist Compendium Living has appointed Lisa Johnson as project manager, to assist with the delivery of large-scale regeneration schemes across the country.
Johnson joins with over 25 years of experience in the industry, having previously held roles in repairs and housing management. Over time, her career became increasingly focused on development and regeneration.
Johnson said: “I was attracted to the role as it brings together project delivery, partnership working and community engagement. Compendium Living’s focus on quality homes and the wider regeneration of local areas closely reflects my professional interests and experience. I’m really excited to have joined a company with a clear focus on regeneration, partnerships and long-term placemaking.”
The appointment follows Compendium Living bringing in Simon Medler as its new managing director. He joined from Lovell East Anglia, where spent 19 years as regional managing director. Alongside his new role at Compendium Living, Medler also holds the title of operations and customer experience director at Lovell, on a national level.
Paul McKenzie, Grant Westfield
Grant Westfield has marked the retirement of Paul McKenzie (pictured right), who has stepped down after an exceptional 42 years with the company.
McKenzie joined the company straight from school and began his career in the drawing office. Over more than four decades, he progressed through the business and went on to become operations director, before taking on his final role as supply chain manager.
McKenzie was presented with his long service award, which had originally been commissioned to commemorate his many years of dedication and service to Grant Westfield, as colleagues reflected on his outstanding contribution to the business.
Grant Westfield has also named a meeting room at its Edinburgh headquarters in his honour, creating a permanent tribute to his contribution over the past 42 years.
