West Sussex-based housebuilder, Thakeham, will deliver 124 new affordable homes in Hailsham, East Sussex, after signing a joint contracts tribunal (JCT) contract with social housing provider, Stonewater.
The development will be made up of 94 houses and 30 apartments with net zero carbon principles, open spaces and retained trees and hedgerows. The development will also provide improved access to existing pedestrian and cycle links.

Thakeham has an established track record of delivering high-quality housing that enhances the local community, and we look forward to starting on-site in the spring.”

Thakeham expects to start on site in spring 2026 with a build duration of 24 months.
