We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.
Tony Rankin, Lovell
Lovell has brought Tony Rankin on board as its new regional managing director in Scotland. He has over 20 years of experience in the housebuilding industry as well as over 10 years in local government. His previous role was group land director at Robertson Residential Group and he held similar positions at other housebuilders.
Elliot Sellars, Muse
Elliot Sellars has been appointed as project director in the Midlands by Muse. He brings with him over 20 years’ regeneration experience, having previously held senior roles at St Modwen Developments and Birmingham City University. He said: “I’m looking forward to working with the expert team, to create partnership led place-changing regeneration.”
Tony Parker, The Hill Group
The Hill Group has promoted Tony Parker to the role of group finance director. His previous role was residential finance director. He gained a BSc in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Warwick and qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 1996. Having focused on real estate and construction, Parker joined Kier before moving on to Hill in 2009.
Andrew Taylor, Carden Group
Strategic land business Carden Group has appointed Andrew Taylor as planning manager. After graduating from Manchester University with a degree in geography in 2016, he went on to work for Gladman, where he worked with Martyn Twigg, who is now planning director at Carden Group, and has also worked for a smaller land promoter.
Hazel Adamek, NHBC
NHBC has appointed Hazel Adamek as regional director to lead housebuilder customer relations in the East of England. Her 18 years at NHBC include previous roles in Claims, Inspection, Training and the Construction Quality Services team. Paul Edwards, NHBC senior regional director, added: “I’m delighted to welcome Hazel to the regional directors’ team.”
Two appointments, Andrew Henry Interiors
Andrew Henry Interiors has announced the appointment of two new team members. Lauren Hudd, previously at Bloor Homes, has been appointed as design account manager, whilst Naomi Smith, with a Bachelor’s degree in PR and Marketing, joins the team as executive PA to Andrew Henry and the management team.
John McWhinnie, Rotpunkt UK
Rotpunkt UK has welcomed John McWhinnie as sales manager covering the north of England. Bringing over 37 years industry experience to his role, His previous roles include national product training manager at Nolte UK, senior designer at Häcker Kitchens based in Dubai, as well as showroom manager at SieMatic.
