Two generations find sales career progress with David Wilson Homes

A mother and step-daughter have decided to further their careers in housebuilding together with their new sales roles at the South Midlands division of David Wilson Homes in Northamptonshire.

Deborah Brown (57) and step-daughter Jenni Brown (30) both joined the company recently in their new roles and are already settling in. Deborah has taken a sales adviser role at the Bertone Manor development in Barton Seagrave in a move from a smaller housebuilder, while Jenni now works at the divisional head office as a sales progressor, having worked in a variety of new homes sales roles for developers previously.

Raunds-based Deborah says: “I was attracted to a career with David Wilson Homes because of its fantastic reputation as a quality housebuilder and the level of support you receive from other members of staff. I’m really enjoying the fast-paced work environment and helping people in the area find their dream homes at our lovely Bertone Manor development. This site already has a real community feel to it and it’s just a nice place to be.”

Jenni is also very pleased with the way she has fitted in with her new colleagues, saying: “I am really enjoying my new role within the division and the team atmosphere is great – everyone has been so welcoming.” Of the new job she has taken on, she adds: “My main responsibilities include progressing sales from reservation to exchange, which I’m finding very interesting and I’m enjoying learning new skills.”
