We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.

Sandeep Sankoli, Hill Group

Sandeep Sankoli, Hill GroupThe Hill Group has appointed Sandeep Sankoli to a newly created role, head of London land and partnerships. He has diverse sector experience, including PLC, housing associations, government and build to rent, specialising in mixed-use development, private rented sector investment and urban regeneration. Roles include those at L&Q and Countryside Properties.

 

Wes English, Robertson Homes

Wes English, Robertson HomesRobertson Homes has appointed Wes English as land director, joining from Avant Homes. He has spent the past ten years working in land acquisition for housebuilders, saying: “I still get a real buzz watching a site I have identified go all the way to completion and I am looking forward to playing my part in developing award-winning schemes in the North East for Robertson.”

 

Danica McLean, Vistry Group

Danica McLean, Vistry GroupVistry Group PLC has announced that it has appointed Danica McLean to the newly created role of group people director, to lead the Human Resources, Resourcing, Payroll & Benefits and Learning & Development teams. She joined Bovis Homes, now part of Vistry, almost nine years ago as senior HR officer.

 

Two appointments, Redrow

Elizabeth Carter and Emma Clark, RedrowElizabeth Carter and Emma Clark have both been promoted to area sales manager at Redrow’s South Midlands division. Carter will further her experience in the housing sector, by helping to oversee the Cambridgeshire developments, while Clark, who has more than four years in the property sector, will oversee the divisions Bedfordshire developments.

 

Gordon Cunningham, Muir Homes

Gordon Cunningham, Muir HomesMuir Homes has appointed Gordon Cunningham as technical director. He joins from a technical director role at Springfield Properties, which acquired Walker Group in 2019. He started his career at Walker Group and progressed from technical manager to development director, and said: “I am looking forward to building on the well-established foundations of the Muir Homes business.”

 

Kerri Brill, Santhem Residences

Kerri Brill, Santhem ResidencesLuxury retirement community Santhem Residences in Shenfield, Essex, has appointed Kerri Brill to the role of village manager. She has four years’ experience of managing retirement villages as well as 15 years’ experience in facility management in the residential and commercial sectors. She said: “I look forward to working alongside the fantastic team to help build a real community here.”

 

Two appointments, Square Roots

Simon Dudley and Clare Coghill, Square RootsSquare Roots, the subsidiary of London Square, has appointed housing experts Simon Dudley as chair and Clare Coghill as vice-chair to lead its Board. Dudley’s roles include chair of the Ebbsfleet Development Corporation, as a board member and former interim chair of Homes England. Coghill is a former leader of the London Borough of Waltham Forest.

 

Parimal Patel, Rendall & Rittner

Parimal Patel, Rendall & RittnerManaging agent Rendall & Rittner has appointed Parimal Patel as group chief financial officer. He has previously held senior roles at Cushman & Wakefield and Jones Lang LaSalle and has been working with Rendall & Rittner as a consultant over the past year. He commented: “I’m delighted to play a part in its continued growth journey.”

 

Two appointments, Strutt & Parker

Robert Cox and Orla O’Sullivan, Strutt & ParkerStrutt & Parker has appointed Robert Cox as associate director and Orla O’Sullivan as senior sales negotiator to its London New Homes team. Cox joins having spent 13 years with Harrods Estates in Mayfair and O’Sullivan has made the move to the sales team from lettings in the Strutt & Parker Kensington office.

 

Charles Macintosh, Harrison Bathrooms

Charles Macintosh, Harrison BathroomsHarrison Bathrooms recently appointed a new sales manager to cover the Scotland region as it looks to widen their reach across the north of the UK. Charles Macintosh brings a wealth of knowledge spanning over 40 years, with 25 years of those in the bathroom market and the first 15 in the building industry after time in the armed services.

 

Faraz Ahmed, MetroPM

Faraz Ahmed, MetroPMAn experienced property manager at MetroPM, has been promoted to the position of associate director. Faraz Ahmed has worked in the sector for ten years and was previously a property manager at Centrick before joining the company in December 2016. He said: “I love my job here at MetroPM and am thrilled at my new promotion.”
