We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.

Kimberley Benson, Barratt Homes

Barratt Southern Counties has appointed a new sales and marketing director, Kimberley Benson. She joined Barratt’s ASPIRE Graduate Programme in 2010 at BDW West Scotland, which involved two years of rotations offering experience within various departments. After completing the programme, she became a field sales manager and within six months was promoted to sales manager.

 

Sara Hope, Hayfield

Sara Hope, HayfieldHayfield has recruited Sara Hope as head of human resources to strengthen its people development capacity and provide specialist in-house HR expertise. She was previously HR manager at Creative Foods and has worked across a range of customer-centric organisations in the UK and Australia. She has over 25 years HR experience and is a trained Mental Health First Aider.

 

Sarah Heracleous, Beauchamp Estates

Sarah Heracleous, Beauchamp EstatesBeauchamp Estates has announced the appointment of Sarah Heracleous as sale negotiator within its New Homes team. She joins from Chelsea-based agency Jo Webster Property, where she initially held a dual post as office manager and lettings negotiator. Sarah’s success and negotiating skills in lettings led to this becoming a full-time role, before transferring her talents to sales.

 

Derek Bertram, Muir Group

Derek Bertram, Muir GroupFife-based Muir Homes has appointed Derek Bertram as construction manager. He brings over 35 years of industry experience in the housebuilding sector, with his last job at a similar role at Walker Group, where he worked with the current managing director of Muir Homes, Paul McKay. He also worked as construction director for Westerwood Homes between 1998 and 2010.

 

Nick Matthews, Richborough Estates

Nick Matthews, Richborough EstatesLand promotion company Richborough Estates has appointed Nick Matthews as technical coordinator. The civil engineering specialist has joined from Maplevale Developments and previously held posts at Warwickshire County Council and Staffordshire County Council. Dean Knight, technical director at Richborough Estates, said: “He’s a great fit and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience.”

 

Lee Johnson, Rendall & Rittner

Lee Johnson, Rendall & RittnerRendall & Rittner has appointed Lee Johnson as divisional director for the South West division. Following an exemplary military career, Lee has enjoyed a variety of roles in the property management sector, gaining experience at a range of companies, most recently, as an associate director for Mainstay Residential Ltd. He first introduced to the industry through contacts at Havant Rugby Club.
