Linda Robinson, AHTO Group
Linda Robinson, previously development director at The Guinness Partnership, has been recruited as the new managing director of AHTO to help lead its investment drive in the Intermediate Rent-to-Buy housing sector. She has over 25 years of property experience in both the public and private sectors including as executive development director of Metropolitan Housing Association.
Ben Smith, Avant Homes
Avant Homes Yorkshire has strengthened its land team with the appointment of Ben Smith as land director for the region. With more than 20 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry, Ben started his career as a quantity surveyor in 1999 and previously worked at Avant Homes Yorkshire as a senior land manager and land director between 2011 and 2018.
Alex Jones, Living Space Housing
Solihull-based Living Space Housing has promoted Alex Jones to the position of technical director. He joined the organisation 18 months ago from construction company Torsion Group, where he was a design manager. Prior to that, he was a design and build coordinator at Kier Living. He has a BSc in Computer Aided Design and Construction from the University of Wolverhampton.
Catherine Ghaffoori, Principle Estate Management
Catherine Ghaffoori has been recruited by Principle Estate Management as a property manager. She is a Member of the Institute of Residential Property Managers and an Associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and has accumulated some 17 years of experience at the likes of Curry & Partners and Savills.
Andy Toogood, Savills
Savills has appointed a new associate director to lead its sale of new homes across Buckinghamshire and South Hertfordshire. Andy Toogood has worked in the property sector for over 10 years and previously headed up the new homes team for Strutt & Parker in Gerrard’s Cross. He said: “Savills is a company that I’ve paid close attention to over the years and always admired.”
