We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.

Several appointments, Croudace Homes

Sarah Bance, Croudace HomesCroudace Homes as announced appointments to its group and regional boards. Matthew Norris becomes regional managing director (South Thames); Steve Thomas takes the position of chief financial officer; Sarah Bance, pictured, is group HR director; Caroline Bailey is the new group legal director; and Liam Chapman is regional build director (South Thames).

 

Gary Day, Churchill Retirement Living

Gary Day, Churchill Retirement LivingChurchill Retirement Living has appointed Gary Day to its Plc board as its new land, design and planning director. He brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise in the retirement housing sector. Prior to Churchill, he spent over 32 years working at McCarthy Stone, the last 20 of which as group land and planning director.

 

Fiona Carleton, McCarthy Stone

Fiona Carleton, McCarthy StoneMcCarthy Stone has today announced the appointment of Fiona Carleton as managing director of its Services division, which employs c.1,600 people. She joins following a decade at Heathrow Airport where she directed operations and customer services across several senior roles including expansion strategy director and most recently as aviation director.

 

Cate Statham, Knight Frank

Cate Statham, Knight FrankKnight Frank has appointed Cate Statham as senior chartered building surveyor within the firm’s residential building consultancy department.  She began her career as an architectural assistant in 2008 for Trapp Architects and most recently was an associate at Hawkes Edwards Architects where she fulfilled the role of project manager for six-and-a-half years.

 

Mark Euesden, Smeg UK

Mark Euesden, Smeg UKSmeg UK has announced that it has appointed Mark Euesden as its Southern contract sales manager. He joins the company from kitchen manufacturer Symphony, where he worked extensively with builders and developers as part of the Skyline division, a team specialising in logistically challenging high-rise projects.

 

Peter Denton, Homes England

Peter Denton, Homes EnglandPeter Denton, chief executive of the Hyde Group, has been confirmed as the new chief executive of Homes England, joining later this year. Prior to joining the Hyde Group, initially as group finance director in 2017, he worked in a broad range of strategic leadership roles, amassing 26 years of pan-European real estate experience.
