Ian Nicholson, RoyaleLife
RoyaleLife has appointed Ian Nicholson as group chief financial officer. Graduating with an honours degree in Economics from Cambridge, he comes with more than 30 years’ experience in senior management and a proven track record of financial leadership including roles at KPMG, Kingston University, Toyota, Ferrari and The Kings Ferry.
Two appointments, Peveril Homes
Derbyshire-based Peveril Homes has promoted Lloyd Holmes (pictured) and Tom Broster onto its board of directors. Holmes is commercial director and recently celebrated 25 years’ service at the company, starting as quantity surveyor. Broster is now technical and construction director and has been with the family-run business since 2015, first as land and technical manager.
Two appointments, Taylor Wimpey
Taylor Wimpey has expanded its North West land and planning department with the appointment of Max Mutemererwa as land manager and Megan Holden as assistant land manager. Mutemererwa has previously worked for Avant Homes, Countryside and McCarthy Stone. Holden followed a planning internship at Savills with a job at Millwood Designer Homes.
Three appointments, Prospect Homes
Prospect Homes has welcomed three new non-executive board members to assist with the company’s growth plans. Liz Green (pictured), Paul Newbold and Bernard Rooney all have extensive backgrounds within the housing industry, and they will be working closely with Prospect’s parent company, Liverpool-based Riverside, to develop larger scale mixed-tenure opportunities.
Jayne Carabott, Orbit Homes
Orbit Homes has appointed its first female assistant site manager, Jayne Carabott, who will be based at the housing provider’s upcoming Felix Park development in Soham. She has extensive experience in the property sector, having worked as an assistant site manager at Crest Nicholson for four years as well as positions at Taylor Wimpey and Countryside Properties.
Mike Nevitt, Anwyl Homes
Anwyl Homes has hired Mike Nevitt, a former design director of Mulbury Homes and Bardsley Construction, as its managing director. A bricklayer by trade, he has extensive industry experience including roles at Bam Construction and Pochins. He takes over the role from Tom Anwyl, who continues in a group director role.
Two appointments, Mulberry Homes
Previously a commercial director for a small Tamworth-based homebuilder, qualified quantity surveyor David Morris joined the growing team at Mulberry Homes as head of commercial in mid-February. Also, with a total of 34-years working both nationally and internationally in the construction field, Phil Marshall has joined as production director.
Wayne Eccles, Jones Homes
Jones Homes has appointed a new construction director to oversee developments across its Lancashire division. Wayne Eccles, started his career in road construction and groundworks, becoming an assistant site manager around 20 years ago before working his way through the ranks to the role of contracts manager, a position he held for the last seven years.
Daniel Grix, Gracewood Group
Residential developer and contractor Gracewood Group has appointed Daniel Grix as its new managing director of construction. He joins from Bellway Homes (Thames Gateway) and brings over 17 years’ experience in flagship development, joint venture partnerships with housing associations and estate regeneration and high-rise construction.
Rachel Fay, Bellway
A new sales director has been appointed by Leicestershire-based housebuilder Bellway East Midlands. Rachel Fay joins with over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing within the sector under her belt, 17 of them as a sales director. Of her latest career step, she said “I wanted to join a business which was dynamic and growing.”
