We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.

 

Darren Broughton, Bellway

Darren Broughton, BellwayDarren Broughton, who has five years’ experience as a project/contracts manager within the construction industry, has joined Bellway’s Huntingdon-based Eastern Counties division. He started out as a carpenter and joiner, working his way up over the years to progress to managerial roles. He said: “I am really enjoying being a part of Bellway.”

 

Lucy Hollands, Vistry Group

Lucy Hollands, Vistry GroupLucy Hollands has been promoted to the role of regional customer services director of Vistry Group, based at the housebuilder’s divisional office in Peterborough. She joined Linden Homes, part of the Vistry Group, nine years ago, originally appointed as a customer services coordinator before progressing to head of customer services.

 

Vicky Savage, L&Q

Vicky Savage, L&QL&Q has announced the appointment of Vicky Savage to the role of group director, development and sales. She joined the company in November 2017 and her most recent role was London managing director. Savage said: “I am thrilled and honoured to be taking on this new role at such a pivotal moment in L&Q’s history.”

 

Jonathan Cranley, Octagon

Jonathan Cranley, OctagonOctagon has appointed former Millgate director Jonathan Cranley as sales and marketing director. He also joined the Group’s main Board earlier this year. With over 30 years’ experience in the property industry, beginning his career at Berkeley Group, followed by 11 years at Millgate, Jonathan brings with him a wealth of experience across the market.

 

Andrew Booth, Create Homes

Andrew Booth, Create HomesCreate Homes, the residential housebuilding arm of Create Group, has announced the appointment of Andrew Booth as managing director. He has over 30 years of development experience, having previously held similar senior roles working on both residential and mixed-use projects for the Calico Group, Mulbury Homes, Taylor Wimpey and Manchester City Council.

 

Max Bentham, Muse Developments

Max Bentham, Muse DevelopmentsMuse Developments has welcomed Max Bentham to its North West office as a senior development surveyor. He brings with him over a decade of experience from across the sector and will initially be working on projects in Salford, having previously has worked on a range of projects in the region, including the Foundry, Ducie Street Warehouse and Swan Street.

 

Catherine Hems, Godwin Developments

Catherine Hems, Godwin DevelopmentsGodwin Developments has strengthened its marketing and communications team with the appointment of senior communications manager, Catherine Hems. A graduate from the University of Birmingham, with a degree in Russian studies and international relations, she leaves New Century Media to take this newly created role and has previously worked at Instinctif Partners.

 

Suzy Hollins, Plumlife Homes

Suzy Hollins, Plumlife HomesSuzy Hollins has been appointed as head of sales at Plumlife Homes. She said: “My key priorities will be to lead and support the sales teams to achieve our increasingly ambitious sales and marketing targets, grow our brand presence, and ensure we innovate in ways to deliver great customer service to our buyers and agency clients.”

 

Tony Millidge, Stonebond Properties

Tony Millidge, Stonebond PropertiesStonebond Properties has announced the appointment of Tony Millidge to the role of construction director for the Chelmsford region. He brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked previously at Higgins for six years and prior to that, Countryside for 13 years.

 

Two appointments, KALMARs

Rachel Stanislaus and David McGuinness, KALMARsSouth London estate agents KALMARs are proud to announce the appointment of Rachel Stanislaus and David McGuinness, who will be joining KALMARs as a new land and development consultant and senior residential sales consultant respectively. Sebastian Kalmar, director at KALMARs, said: “I am very pleased to be working with both of them.”

 

Two appointments, Hamptons

Adam Wolfryd, HamptonsHamptons has welcomed two new property professionals to its team in Canary Wharf. Adam Wolfryd (pictured) assumes his role as senior head of sales with immediate effect, whilst Daniel Derbyshire will join the team as sales associate. Both join from Felicity J Lord and between them  share 50 years of property experience.

 

Greig MacLeod, Scottish Building Federation

Greig MacLeod, Scottish Building FederationThe SBF has announced Greig MacLeod of Lochgilphead firm MacLeod Construction as its new president. He takes up the role immediately, replacing Alan Morris of Fourply. MacLeod started his career working for Tulloch Construction, before gaining further site management experience in the US then returning to the UK.

 

Chris Massingham, Rendall & Rittner

Chris Massingham, Rendall & RittnerIn creating a dedicated in-house utilities management team, Rendall & Rittner has brought in Chris Massingham to lead it as utilities procurement manager. With ten years’ experience in the energy sector, Chris is an industry specialist who has previously worked for Anglian Water as well as in consultancies managing procurement for property management companies.
