We take our weekly look at some of the appointments and promotions across the housebuilding industry and its supply chain.

 

Mark Rowe, David Wilson Homes

Mark Rowe, David Wilson HomesDavid Wilson South Midlands has promoted Mark Rowe to head of customer care at the head office in Northampton. He has been with the company since 2017 when he began working as a site manager at a development in Barton Seagrave. Mark has completed an NVQ Level Four in Construction Management and has completed the Barratt Training Academy.

 

Jennifer Tupman, Avant Homes

Jennifer Tupman, Avant HomesSunderland-based housebuilder Avant Homes North East has promoted its regional director, Jennifer Tupman, to managing director. She joined the company as finance director in 2011 before being promoted to regional director North East last year. She said: “I am very proud to have the opportunity to lead such a capable and dedicated group of people.”

 

Three appointments, Fruition Properties

Ella Lord, Jonathan Smart and Kirill Reshetov, Fruition PropertiesLondon developer Fruition Properties has recruited three new hires to expand its land and development team. Jonathan Smart joins as land director, with previous roles at Crest Nicholson, Taylor Wimpey and Berkeley Homes. Joining his new land team are Kirill Reshetov and Ella Lord who both take up roles as land associates.

 

Paul Moore, Miller Homes

Paul Moore, Miller HomesMiller Homes has a new managing director for its Yorkshire region, Paul Moore. He has a career in the industry which latterly saw him hold the position of managing director for the North West region at another housebuilder. “Miller Homes has an excellent reputation and has been leading the way in its use of technology to support customers and staff,” he said.

 

Simon Bennett, Redrow

Simon Bennett, RedrowSimon Bennett, the new interim sales director for Redrow in the North West and North Wales, was the company’s group marketing director for almost 10 years from 1998 before leaving to take on new challenges, including time as non-executive director of Prospect Homes. He has now re-joined for 12 months while head of sales Anna Evans Kerr is on maternity leave.

 

Steve Alcock, Torus

Steve Alcock, TorusSteve Alcock has been appointed to the post of director of developments and sales at Liverpool-based housing group, Torus. He has a degree in planning and development and has accumulated some 20 years’ experience in the industry, including time as head of land for PJ Livesey Group and as land and partnerships director at Keepmoat Homes.

 

Achi Ejikeme, United Trust Bank

Achi Ejikeme, United Trust BankUnited Trust Bank (UTB) is continuing to expand its Development Finance Division with the appointment of Achi Ekjikeme as a new senior manager, supporting housebuilders and developers in the South and East of England. He has joined from Oaknorth Bank and brings with him nearly 15 years of experience in property finance, including seven years at Lloyds Bank.
