A renowned interior design studio based in West London is now seeking a passionate Associate Interior Architect to lead projects whilst running a small interior architecture team. If you are creative, with a high-end residential background and a client-focused approach then we want to hear from you. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000 + benefits and flexible working hours.

The practice is a London-based interior design studio established in 2014. The dynamic team of twelve designers focus on high-end residential projects but also work in a variety of other sectors to include hospitality, retail and workplace in the UK and internationally. Their designs are eclectic and delivered with honesty and a sense of humour. They are proud of their client-focused approach offering creative and unique spaces time after time.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Directors to manage multiple interior architecture projects from start to completion on site
  • Pitching and presenting to clients
  • First point of contact with clients throughout the project life cycle
  • Managing project teams
  • Liaising with suppliers, contractors and consultants
  • Space planning
  • Production of all drawings and tender packages
  • Set and manage programmes in line with deadlines
  • Oversee and manage projects
  • Managing budgets
  • Manage and check information produced by sub-contractors.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in high-end residential interior design
  • Strong knowledge of both Interior Architecture and FF&E, with a very strong technical understanding
  • A degree or equivalent in Interior Design and / or Interior Architecture
  • Full proficiency using Vectorworks, Adobe Creative suite and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Understanding of project timelines and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Financial awareness with the ability to manage budgets
  • Good supplier and product knowledge, including FF&E and finishes
